Do guys usually call their female friends cute etc? does complimenting them usually mean they can like them romantically or not necessarily?

A male friend of mine has the habit of sitting around shirtless when we hang out in summer and it drives me nuts...
He doesn't always run around half naked, but there have been several occasions - especially when he stayed the night (with other male friends, so there's no use reading into that) or had a shower and just didn't put a shirt on afterwards. He has never done this when the other female friend of our group was there.
He's definitely attractive and well built, so it makes me all kinds of flustered, but I try not to let it show... Does he know what he's doing?

Feel free to add opinions or ask for more details if it might help. I have had a serious crush on this guy for years and I am losing my mind over this... HELP xD

I mean do you think they are unable to handle pain or do they tend to overreact?
There are lots of examples, they pretend (or not):
- they are going to die (man flu and almost each dicease)
- they are scared (taking of blood or injection)
- they can't move or act (stomachache, hit to the groin, headache)

Over four years ago I went out on several dates with this guy and we slept together. After that, I never heard a word from him again, he didn't respond to any of my texts. I would definitely consider this ghosting. However, recently this guy and I were talking online for two weeks and he was quite full-on. Saying he loved me, wanted to marry me, talking about sex, etc. Eventually, it got too much and I stopped replying. A few weeks later, he gets back in contact to say how he's angry and hurt. I had previously stipulated the sex-talk was getting a bit much, but he still carried on. Nonetheless, I accepted my responsibility for cutting this person off and thoroughly apologized. Now they're saying they will never forgive me. Is this person being a tad over-dramatic, considering we'd never met? I don't see why he had plans to marry me a few weeks ago, but now he's saying we don't know each other? Henceforth, I'm genuinely curious to hear other people's ideas on what counts as ghosting.

These are the same stupid f*cktards who complain about women who do to the same and try to change them. They are just just hypocritical. I mean both is wrong but dont complain about it if you do the same shit. This happens a lot to women who dress revealing. If you want women with modest clothes, then date women with modest clothes in the first place instead wasting another woman's time who dont dress modest or who dont fit in your preferences. You either accept her the way she is or fuck off from her life. Period.

So I went out with some friends and saw the guy who pretty much ghosted me. We talked and it wasn’t awkward and had a pretty good night.

He told me to text him when I got home. Should I text him? Even though he ghosted me initially?

I got drunk and came onto a guy that I had rejected a couple months prior. I told him I had feelings for him.

The very next day he began texting me again, which he hadn’t done since I rejected him (before then he would text me all of the time). He would text me memes or start conversations about really anything. I took this to mean that he was single and still interested.

Come to find out, he wasn’t single. He recently made it official with the girl he had been seeing, but didn’t tell me.

So, I confronted him and said I think he should have told me he had a girlfriend and that I felt mislead and didn’t think we should talk anymore. In response, he told me that he only started texting me again because he didn't want me to be embarrassed about coming onto him, and he wanted me to know that we could still be friends (FYI, we were never really friends). He also said he didn’t tell me he had a girlfriend because she wanted to keep their relationship private. He says he hopes we can still be friends.

I think this is total bs and he knew good and well he was leading me on (maybe for an ego stroke). Do you think he really just wanted to be friends, or was he playing me?

I've went on 1 date with this guy
And he would look at ALL my stories everyday
And sometimes he would reply to it

E. g. I posted that I like to go shopping in my spare time (and I post them on my stories)
And he replied "yep thats true about u"

Men, I have a question for you (and ladies can join in too.) How do you feel when walking outside, mostly at night, that some people see you as a potential threat/danger? I'm not saying all men are a threat, but men do commit the majority of violent crimes, so there is always a small inherent risk with strangers.

I go for walks a lot at night. I always have. I did a lot of research on wireless ear phones recently, and I specifically chose some that are not noise-cancelling. I really don't like that feeling of sound isolation. It's very muffling and I really like to hear my environment around me.

Many guys seem to give a wide berth, or walk on the opposite side of the street or pathway when they see someone approaching. Probably for two Reasons. 1. Out of courtesy, like 'Hey, I'm not a threat to you', and 2. They prefer avoiding other people so they don't have to acknowledge them. (This happens more in densely populated cities than in rural areas. I've lived in both. There's less anonymity and more accountability with neighbours in smaller towns, but not cities. You get so little true alone time and privacy when you're out, people tend to want at least somewhat of a bubble around them when they're walking. Part of that is avoiding eye contact.)

But how do you feel about being considered a low-grade potential threat by some? Does it bother you?
Is it dependent on your size?
How do you feel, yourself, when other men are on your same pathway in the dark?
