I have a crush on one of my colleagues. We flirt like crazy and we are close. Would you consider this jealous behaviour?

- I was telling my manager that I was going out on a date. In the corner of my eye, I saw him look over in my direction. When I said “have a nice weekend”, he just said “bye” abruptly whereas he would normally say “you too”

- I was putting some lip balm on and he joked saying, “putting makeup on for the new guy?”

- When I got a lift to work from another guy, because of bad weather - he called me a “wimp”. The next day I asked him for some help and he responded with “why don’t you ask (name of guy who gave me a lift to work)?”

- When I’m laughing and joking with a male colleague, he goes quiet and doesn’t really interact

- He was offering me a lift to the staff do and I politely declined because someone else was talking me. He then asked me if I didn’t trust his driving

- I was chatting to a male colleague and he interrupted us saying “what are you two jabbering about”

- I pulled some fluff out of a male colleagues hair, the guy in question said “you just wanted to touch his hair”

During some conversations he starts fidgeting or rubbing his arms nervously… but only sometimes. And a few months ago he saw me in person and got very nervous and started shaking. Other than that… the only other sign of attraction I’ve noticed is that he mirrors me quite a bit… picking up his coffee cup to take a sip when I do it…. Not sure if he’s naturally an awkward man or whether he’s attracted? But in groups of people he doesn’t seem awkward and looks more relaxed… so maybe I have an effect on him? But he also hasn’t made a move on me. Maybe he feels awkward because someone told him I like him? I dunno. Also another thing to note is that I’m more conventionally attractive than he is, so maybe he’s intimidated? I’m not sure. Also his face looks a bit red around me sometimes but I can’t tell whether he’s flushed for another reason or it’s just lighting etc.

Does intelligence really matter to a guy when it comes to dating? If a women is smarter than you, is it off putting? From the people I meet, I realised that smart women are more likely to be single than other women. Is it because they are more selective or is it because men don't want them as much? I feel that successful men are more likely to go for housewives rather than high achieving women.

And claims to be a certain cute girl from college you have seen in quite a few lectures asking you if you're about to graduate soon? How would you react and why? (If it matters, she got your number through a common whatsapp group of a big course at college you both attended).

For instance with status symbols, charm, intellect, confidence etc.

His friend told me that he was really into me for years. He would sneak glances when I was distracted but never found the courage to come up and talk to me. Months later he met a girl in a lecture in college (which I also attended) that started flirting with him and he confidently flirted back. From then on he started dressing nicer to this lecture. Why didn’t he ever put in the effort for me if he had a crush on me for years?

I think that my last name is super cool. So i personally don't want to change it. But i see plenty of dude who have problem with it why? Lmao I might understand if I wanted kids to have my last name but i don't care about that. I just want to keep it because it sound cool. Why is it a problem?

I notice a lot of white men think thick women are fat and won't date them. Or they are overly disgusted by women that have a belly. I'm not trying to make this about race but men of other races tend to be more accepting of all body types. Why is this?

My only guess is that white men are unhappy with themselves and have to find someone to bully

The barista at my local coffee shop is really hot, is good with eye contact and we have really good conversations. We enjoy similar things and have similar political views. He teases me frequently which makes me think he like me simply as a friend. The first I time I came in he gave me my order for free and the next time as well, he tried to do it again but I insisted on paying for what I had ordered. He has covered some of the payment at times I've come up short. He does have a girlfriend but every time he mentions her its in an off handed way. Whenever I come in he tells me about things going on in his life and seems genuinely interested in what's going on in my life. I would have directly approached this and just asked him if he didn't have a girlfriend but I keeping getting mixed signals and am confused. Is he into me or am I reading way to much into this?

A guy from my wider circle of friends doesn’t like me and gossips about me with others, hardly ever tried to make conversation with me, acts super closed off with me but vibes with pretty much everyone else. Recently he started teasing me about another guy look (a friend of him) I have absolutely no interest in like asking me „what did you two do last night? ;)“ with a mischievous smile. He looks as if he knows something but there is nothing going on between me and the other guy. Why does he tease me if we he doesn’t even like me as a friend? Is he just being nosy?

By Trad wife (Traditional wife) I mean a woman who prefers to do the majority of the cooking and cleaning and does that well and if you want kids she'll be a stay at home mom, or she'll work from home so she can raise the kids while you work. Trad wives also embody feminine traits.

So would you prefer a trad wife or no?

I have a guy best friend and I do like him back, but am trying to figure out if he likes me before making any moves. I can’t tell if these things I’m about to list or coincidences or not, so any advice is appreciated.

• He often asks me if I find celebrities/characters/random guys that look like him attractive
• He seems to get jealous when I bring up other random dudes
• He tries really hard to get close to my dad
• My dad and one of our mutual friends think he has a thing for me
• In the past, though this was a few years ago, he told me I look like a doll on one occasion and Rapunzel on another
• I gave him a piece of jewelry for his birthday and he gave me one back (though this could just be returning the kindness)
• He described his type (personality wise) in a group setting one time and someone said that that description sounds like me, but he went quiet after that
• He sends me silly cat and animal videos a lot
• One time we were talking and he said “you never tell anyone you love them” but in such a way & context that I think he wanted me to say it to him

Why is he serious around me? Is it cos he’s nervous?
