Do emotional things persuade you more than factual stuff?

In video games and table top, slimes were a common creature you might face in battle. Well what if they were real? Would you keep one as a pet?

If you haven't looked up at the night sky, it's worth doing so.

I think winter is the best time to view the night sky because it is darker, and there's more to see.

I just had a sky wall chart that I studied before I went outside, a planisphere, a torch, and a clear sky.

Orion is easy to find, and Ursula Major, and then I search to find the planets, apparently a few of them tonight are lined up in an arc.

Some nights there are meteor showers, and sometimes I try to see the space station, so it's worth a hour just to gaze at the stars.

What is your opinion?

Something that creeped me out is learning more about Moray eels, as I've added eel to my diet.

Believe it or not, it's actually quite good. Most of my life, I didn't understand fear of snakes aside from a healthy fear of not getting too close and provoking animals that may cause harm.

I looked up photos of Moray eels and yeah, these things are terrifying looking. Now they're nocturnal, look and move like sea snakes and have several sets of creepy jaws, sacred yet?

Okay, they use a second set of backwards facing jaws to move forward, grab their prey, and pull it down it's throat into its stomach. Scared yet, no?

Okay, they sometimes tie themselves in knots to gain leverage and tear up the bodies of their prey, and also, look at the picture for 5 seconds without looking away.

Yeah, sorry for ruining your sleep schedule...
Just remember they're a million times more terrified of you than you could ever possibly be of them, if it makes you feel better.

I regularly buy newspapers when I go shopping for my groceries, but I've noticed fewer papers are being sold and they're more expensive.

I do subscribe to a cycling magazine, but I don't have the time to read more than one magazine.

Do you buy newspapers and magazines?

Are they too expensive, or do you not have the time to read them, or are they old technology and you have found a better way to read the news?
