Drifting into the stars & scanning the sky is something that I always did & days before the Hale-Bopp comet my telescope arrived just in time. As for Hale-Bopp it was probably the most viewed comet & I always remember how excited I was to see it.
It was a cold night & I spent hours outside glancing into the night sky & the second I spotted it I kept watching it with amazement & after that I ran inside to tell my family to come outside to view the comet. I still have the telescope to this day & it looks close to the one in this photo.
yes, I do... good times
I remember having to watch it with either of my best friends from childhood because... they just didn't get along with one another at the time, lmao
It was 4 years before I was born but I find comet appearance and flu epidemic in the past very interesting. Maybe that vapor and gas that evaporates from comets in inner solar system isn't that clean as space agencies expect.
See it? I was on it. But I didn't have a ticket so got dumped back on Earth.

No, but I heard there was an asteroid that almost hit Earth in 1994
It was cloudy that day in my city, I never had the chance to see it.
I never got to see it. If I did, it was on a very short clip on t. v..
I seem to remember seeing it but that might be a false memory. You know how it is.

No… I was still in my dad’s ball sack, I saw nothing and remembered nothing
