Did any you see a meteor shower and/or a comet in the last month or two?

Early last October, news has spread that there will be meteor showers and a passing comment that can be seen within the month of October and early November. Have any of you seen at least one of these? If yes, where were you when you saw either or both of them?

Yes, I’ve seen a meteor shower last month (October).

Yes, I’ve seen both last month (October).

Yes, I’ve seen the comet this month (November).

No, I haven’t seen any of those at all on both months (October and November).

I don't think October and November are the best months for meteor showers, but with dark clear skies they would be more easily seen.

I think typically there would only be 15 to 20 meteors per hour.

I have been interested searching for the meteors in the past, and I've seen the Perseid meteor shower, that occurs August 12th - 13th, and they produced up to 150 meteors per hour.

The best way to see the meteors is to buy a planisphere for your latitude, and look up on Google, what area of the sky to look for the meteor showers.

To keep in the category of the question, I have been doing some Health and Fitness cycling on my bike, but even on a clear dark night I haven't seen any meteors when I've looked up in the sky. 🙂

I do like to keep in touch with what's happening in the night sky, but I've not heard about the comet this time, but I've been busy doing other things, so it's probably not surprising I've missed it.
