I'd say March.
August or Augustus wouldn't be too bad because it is masculine sounding.
I was born in January but that has 4 syllables, so I wouldn't want that. And I wouldn't want the nickname of Jan.
Not February because it has 4 syllables and no nickname.
Not September, October, November or December because they have 3 syllables and no nicknames and the "er" at the end would be weird for a name. It sounds like a trade like roofer, painter, skinner, plumber, house keeper, ...
April, May and June are girl's names and even July sounds too close to Julie.

January is a very rare name both in the uk and usa. According to one source our name Iona comes from Ionawr (January) but other sources disagree. Of course there's Janus but that hasn't been popular in yonks.

Statistics & sources are saying all kinds of things & I’ll have to dive into the history books & take a look back in time. July was once Quintilis (fifth month) and August was Sextilis (sixth month) before being renamed for Julius Caesar and Augustus. January is a rare name unless you are talking about Miss January or course. As for Janus I see it more as a last name but if your last name was Janus & your first name was Hugh (Hugh Janus) good luck.
