Yeah, I’m that guy/girl.

I remember we got a selfie stick along with this mobile phone my mom got back in 2016 or 2017 and me and my sister used to act like influencers with that stick and my mom thought why not make a YouTube channel featuring us and we both also became excited at the idea.
No, thank God we didn't end up doing that actually. When we got bored of it, I used to threaten my sister with that stick as my weapon whenever she would pick fight with me. I liked how it opened with one click lol.
Selfie stick is so 2016 core though lol, anyone who used that was the cool kid.
In 2026?
Would be interesting to see if people talk like this about the phone tripod stand when we reach 2036 lol.
Literally an compulsory item in any over consumer's list.
No, no selfie stick for me. I don't even take selfies up close, so imagine me using one to get even more of me in the picture. I know that there is no picture of me circulating on the internet because I have never posted one. So, what's the purpose of taking a selfie if not to share with others?
I do have a static tripod for my big camera but that is more to take picture of the sky at night where a steady equipment is required due to the long exposures (up to 30 minutes).
I can't imagine myself keeping a smiling position for that long using a selfie stick.
However, I do have a walking stick, a sticker and I stick to my decisions.
No never have I've taken a few very few pictures of myself
As a matter of fact in grade school and in high school maybe once every two years I would have my picture taken on School photos and the only reason why I did have my picture taken is because my mom would call the principal and picture day to make sure I was in there getting my picture taken
I'd be shocked if I have taken 5 selfies in my lifetime. Certainly it wouldn't be enough to justify buying a selfie stick.
I do have an endoscope, though, and I use that a few times a month. Seeing inside a wall before you drill into something important is a good thing.

I remember them from years ago. They were a one week gimmick.
You gave up buttercup too quick @purplepoppy should've let it glue to you (metaphorically) for years - hell people still use selfie sticks for selfies to this day - 😄
Time to cue that song by that actor Blame It by Jamie Foxx or Foxxx fox 🦊 "blame it on the booze, blame it on the song, blame it on the a-a-a-alcohol" that you gave up on a trend too soon 📈 lol that stood the test of pop time 🤭
©️🎶 music copyrighted - lol 😆
No. We call our tallest friend our selfie stick though. He does a good job.
In a private context, I could find use for a selfie stick.
No, it's not what you think. It isn't what you thought after that either. Just stop thinking about this answer, it's not productive.
I have one but I never used it out in public it was helpful to get good angles but it can't connect to new phones cuz they don't have the headphone jack anymore lol
I've never used one since I'm not really as narcissistic as I make myself out to be and don't actually take many selfies at all. Actually, I usually forget my phone half the time anyway. 😳
I have one because I thought it's useful for some occasions but I only used it like twice because I don't like it look of the photos and it's annoying you carry it around.
Yes, we used one quite a lot when we went to Yellowstone and got many pictures that we would not have otherwise been able to get.
We have one. We need a new one since we switched to IPhones. Have used it a few times for selfies. Most the time used it shot pictures like you're looking down from the ceiling on large objects.
I tried one, but it felt awkward and clumsy.
Honestly Abby, I've probably taken about 20 selfies in my lifetime. I don't want to see pictures of myself -- I'm not that good looking. :)
I think I have three Selfies on my phone. No selfie stick needed.
Agent Cody Banks movie represent 🕶️
Nope
And I'm uncomfortable (there's that word women always use, ha, now hoarding the word) lol 🦚
What do you mean other purposes - 🤔 vomits about thoughts of fetish
I was uncomfortable 😣 about the option underneath nope 🤭🤭🤭
Cough in audience - *cough!
It's important we don't insult people who use the selfie stick for selfies 🤳🏻 🏒
I don't like the meme 👀 there I said it folks 🖼️ please don't criticise on me at all once
Honestly - no, never. I don't have a smartphone, my phone is kinda stupid old cellphone XD
I did see that once before but I never used a selfie 🤳 stick 💃
Yeah I used and it is a very helpful tool helping take photos properly
Nah, that’s the dumbest thing.
I just hold up my phone and take a picture
No. A tripod for family time delayed exposure shots? yes.
Never felt the need to.
That's like most consumer goods - nobody "needs" a television.
Nobody "needs" makeup 💄😛
Yeah.
To scratch my back.
I did back over a cliff once.
No i haven't! Have you?
Does it help with your pics or no not really
Thank you
I couldn't live with myself. No
Nope!! Are they still a thing 🤔
