How often do you post selfies?

Never, as in it takes for ever to set up the back drop or right the right scenic situation.
Get the tripod, load camera with film. Shoot the whole roll of film with other stuff.
Develop the film. Take the negatives.
Now the next step I can do is two ways. I could scan the negatives onto the computer and open in Photoshop and reverse the colors of the negatives save then post online.
The other way would be for me to load the negative in the enlarger. Make a contact print and then hang the photo till it dries. Then scan the photo to the computer. Download it to the web.
So that sounds like too much work for one photograph and thats the easy way.
I could do wet plate photography Also known as the Black Art Photography. Thats a lot more work intensive
Selfies got the mental illness (narcissism) ENCOURAGED (and male-female relations broke down soon after women went nuts over them).
I don't post them at all. I've discontinued using all social media as well for the same reason (and with good results)
That is cool for you. :-) I rarely use #Friendica and for <1% chance I post private things there, mostly about my hobby. And selfies-taker like @TonyTheGuid0 described are mentally ill.
I am an anti selfie person and I have never ever taken a single selfie.
I find our modern society is becoming increasingly narcissistic and so many people need to prove themselves that they are good looking, have a nice smile. It is kind of scary to see how superficial our society is becoming since internet and cell phones made this trend available.
Those modern communication systems are just bringing out the worst of people and shows their true personality. In a way, you could say that it is a good thing to know that a large number of humans are so full of themselves and need to show the world how they are in reality.
On gag I probably switch my profile pic a few times a week. I like to play around with color and shapes and design in pictures when I have a free Empty minutes where I can’t get into something serious but don’t want to just sit there. It rejects me.
They are never straight forward pictures. I either find them funny or interesting but it is rarely if ever a picture, where you would look at it and he able to recognize me from gag in the park. I never post normal pictures ever and I don’t post anything on social media- other than gag, if you count gag.
I will add, I did not have a camera phone or access to Internet grieving up. I only relatively recently began using the internet, much more recently taking pictures..
I think there is novelty in it for me- to see myself from t creative perspectives.. . In the sane vein, I am not comfortable posting actual pictures online Bc to me it is not “ normal” to write diwn publicly, every single in your head , , then put your face next to it.. I think it’s a bit insane 😁🤷♀️

Never, It's so awkward to do. Actually, I take that back, if I'm talking with someone new online for a live verify I'll take a picture or video in the mirror, but that doesn't get posted, so, hrm...
I dont understand why people take selfies after selfies. Driving in their car? SELFIE! On the toilet? SELFIE! Just walked passed a mirror? SELFIE! Baked a cake? SELFIE! Just got fucked in the ass? SELFIE! And every selfie they take, they instantly post it to social media for the world to see, as if anyone really gives a shit.
Hardly unless I truly am in love with the outfit I'm wearing and care to show it off. I mostly ask or a friend or the boyfriend will take a snap of me when out and about someplace with a nice backdrop - kinda like my display pic. I like my pics to have a story behind it of a special place I ventured off to.
Ever so often I feel posing is a way of expressing myself because I know but the person looking at me perceives their own opinion it’s a mystery each time & when I add a caption that may reveal my personality. Nice way to pass the time
Never, and when I see that someone's favourite photographic subject is themselves, I'm not sure if I find it funny or sad that their narcissism or unabashed need for validation (and therefore insecurity) is so great.
In my entire life i have taken about 13 or 15 selfies and posted about 3. Last time i took a selfie i think it was 2 years ago.
Almost never. Only if I come across a picture that fits well and represents me online.
Or if I feel like my old ones need replacing, maybe then I put some effort in. Otherwise not at all often. Maybe 3 times a year.
I never do. Because I don't take them the only time I do them it's because I'm chatting with someone andvine thing leads to another and she wants to see lol
I took selfies for a couple of months until I realized the camera makes me way uglier than I am LOL, then I stopped for good because there was rarely a picture for me to like. I'm up to group photos or whatever, but selfies are odd.
Once in a while. I used to post more but then I got too busy with work and other stuff! I only usually do it when I think I am looking rather particularly beautiful that day!
Thanks for asking! :- )
Not often at all.
Last one I posted was a couple days before Christmas. Before that, September. But it wasn't a good one, it was my current one that I have now, lol.
I take selfies sometimes for myself, my boyfriend or my family. But not oftenly and I don't post them on Instagram, Facebook or any social media platform.
Selfies on social media? Very little of the time do I do that. If I were to post selfies of any kind,... I would try & pull off a professional & artistic selfie. I do some photography on the side just for the fun of things.
Very rarely. Less than five times a year. I cut down a lot. I prefer if someone else took a photo of me or it looks like someone else did.
Very rare.
I don't like to take my own pictures.
If I take a self, there will be at least 2-3 people.
I take them when I feel super pretty. But I rarely post them.
I used to post a lot about 4-5years ago. Every second day or so.
I stopped, and now I haven’t posted a “selfie” on my Instagram since 2016 hahaha
Not once in my life. I expect that statement to still be true by the time I die.
On Snapchat, everyday... here never. This is where I get to speak truth cuz none y’all know me 😘
Pretty much never as I ain't worthy of being in photos.
If I am doing something and my face looks good in the camera, I post it. But that's not always the case lol
Never, it will only come back to haunt you and if you are young you have a lot of years of selfies that can ruin you for life depending on what you post and where this country goes.
There is way to many selfie’s in this world !
People should start to look at the world outside of themselves!
It’s beautiful out there
Once or twice a month but I take them more often than that and with a mytake it could be more than twice
I have many pics but few actual selfies and I rarely post them online.
Why not?
Literally never. I feel like the opposite is more common with women.
Never. Narcissism will never be a desirable quality.
It's a seasonal thing for me aside from social events. 🖤
😎😊🙃
I posted a picture of myself with a new hoodie on my private instagram story the other day and I think thats the first picture of myself I've put on social media in my entire life so
Never. In fact, never taken a selfie (not counting groupfies). Apart from that I have very few solo pictures of mine
Never.
Not at all. My friends say it's weird for me to not to though.
Yeah I do and I just don't have the need to post pictures of myself on the internet. Like, I see no good reason tbh lol 😅
Not very often. I rarely like pictures of myself, lol.
Almost never. I post more pictures of my girlfriend than myself out of my love for her.
I used to post butts I don't post a lot anymore because social media made me compare myself to a lot of other girls.
Sometimes, when I want and then only accessible by my girlfriend. I don't really need, no offense intended, to post my face around the world.
I'm FAR from photogenic, so, not only do I not post selfies, I don't post other pictures on social media, either
I never did, I have other people take pictures of me
I think everyone who spends a significant amount of time on the internet has experienced some
Derp, my reply was for another thread, not sure how that happened. I pretty much just take selfies when someone asks to see me
Every waking moment of my life, to a point where it's very unhealthy.
On social media, rarely. Although I do take selfies every now and then.
Once a year. But that’s mostly for a profile picture update.
Never.. And those that post constantly, it has been linked to a, mental disorder called narcissistic personality disorder
Never. I've never posted a selfie !! Anyone else make that claim?
For her I'd post everyday.
But in reality I only post when I look different or am asked personally what I look like.
I dont show my face much on social media if ever , mainly due to insecurity (a slight thing in me always finds something wrong with my face or pics
well I don't as I don't really understand why people would want to see my face as those on my follow list see me quite often and probably don't want to any more jk
as the incredibly awesome rolyreacts states
live your life
I post selfies on Facebook probably once a week. I went for awhile without posting anything at all. Sometimes I do it because I'm bored.
Only to update a profile pick once every other month...
Almost never. I have one selfie on instagram and only one other saved on my phone, I'm just not a selfie guy.
Never have, never will. No one wants to see my ugly face
I would but the internet would explode with my hotness. Not ready to take that chance
Only for profile pictures. I don’t like my face. lol I’m not very social because I’m hard on myself.
Not very often. I prefer if someone click a photo of me.
Never, but please keep posting because they make me laugh.
I don't upload my photos my friends use to do this...
When I go fishing. I use an app that tracks all my catches, methods, bait, and fishing locations.
I hear ya. When I first started using Fishbrain, it was advertised as a tool for fishing, but now people are insisting that it's social media for fishing instead of a tool keeping track of your info. I'd prefer they got rid of "likes" on it. It's sad to see teenagers on there commenting on people catches begging for followers.
Most of the time when I log a catch, I just take a picture of the fish itself. If my girlfriend is out fishing too then she'll get a picture of me with a fish.
