Why is somebody going and downvoting anyone who says yea? Bruh  There's worse things a person can be doin. Taking some photos to build self esteem isn't near the top of that list.

I really hate selfies! And not to be rude, but I'm not a fan of people that have a phone full of nothing but selfies either; it seems self absorbed.

I've always been very insecure about my looks, not to mention I take terrible pictures (regular and selfies). So needless to say, I don't have many pictures of myself, unless someone takes one of me at work, while I'm out, at an event, etc...

Yet I won't take a selfie of myself unless I'm measuring my weight loss progress- and even then, I do so occasionally

As for me if I’m going to take a picture I’m going to take a real picture & when it comes to selfies I call them bullshit photos & I do not do bullshit photos.

I love people who post selfies of them at the beach & surprise surprise guess who’s sitting in a sandbox?

I love people who post selfies of them on vacation & you can’t even see where the fuck they are.

Selfies blow & group selfies suck too.

I take selfies.
But the ones I take rarely get shared or posted on social media.
I'm sure people might think I'm a narcissist since I don't have any friends, and when I go out I rarely take photos since I get caught up in the moment...
But umm I don't take photos like the one you posted.
To me that is too much.
I can't tell her age, it's racy and because of it, I see it as being distasteful.
Women that post images like that. Do so, solely to illicit a particular type of man and behaviour.

That's not me...
When I was younger I did do that because I didn't really understand. I was told about dangerous and predatory men, but until you know you don't know, and you never think it will happen to you.

No, I don’t like to taking selfies without my dogs.

As long as my self-esteem sometimes do feel like better, but not really. There’s an important that my dogs and I are special. It’s hard explaining why I like to taking my dogs with me on pictures. They are best therapist for me forever :)

Eh, kinda depends. I usually don't really feel photogenic enough for selfies or pictures in general.

However, if the feeling does strike me (which is quite a rare occurance), might as well indulge it I suppose. Some pictures have turned out quite nicely.

Places like Instagram are full of women taking selfies posing in their yoga pants, bikinis, and other nonsense because they're a bunch of narcissists seeking "likes". Yes, I know, there's men that do it too but it's overwhelmingly a female dominant thing.

No, I look so much better in the mirror. I use a phone camera with sub-par quality. My eyes look focused and intense in a mirror but could look uneven in selfies. Still images just don't look as good either. People are dynamic
