I went to a social gathering to network with other folks who travel solo or in group, basically to learn from each others experiences. This guy came up to me and started talking. Over the next 30 mins, he just went on and on about his job, his apartment that he owns and the three side businesses he runs. He also tried inquiring if I was interested in having kids later in my life. Basically, he was selling himself and trying to gauge if I fit in his "requirements". He happened to ask for my phone number and I gave it. I know that I have to learn to say no and I have decided what to do next time some guy asks and I'm not willing to give. Out of being polite, I just continued the conversation and at one point, I moved into a group of guys and girls to avoid talking to him one-on-one. I did notice that he was also exchanging numbers with another girl in the group. Seems like a player.

Anyways, so he texted me the time I shared my number and I didn't read those messages indicating to him that I'm not interested. He texted me again a few hours ago asking how my week is going and if I'm free for coffee on Sunday morning. I haven't opened the message to read it as it flashed on my phone screen and I was able to read it there. So, now he thinks that I haven't read his message.

I do not want to talk or meet him. Should I just ghost him? I know its not mature thing to do but I'm done being nice already.

Honestly in my opinion? While it's none of my business what other people wear, and I realize people don't dress to please me; personally I absolutely hate the way below the knee shorts look on men. Like in photo above of the same guy in the above the knee shorts versus the "too long" shorts... night and day to me. To me it's just crazy how much better men's shorts look when they don't cover the kneecaps.

I personally also like very short shorts on guys, like around 5 inch inseam, mid-thigh... though I realize that length might be "a bit too bold" for most people, especially since below the knee shorts have been so ingrained for a long time... but slightly above the knee is an excellent starting point in my opinion.

Ahaha... would you look at all that beautiful man thigh. But on a more serious note, I tried to include a variety of different "above the knee" lengths. From only a few inches above to significantly more inches above.

I would find some below the knee shorts photo examples for comparison, but... I just hate looking at below the knee shorts, lol.

For all the guys in those photos, they're seriously rocking those shorts, and it would break my heart if they "reverted" back to below the knee shorts, haha... no, not really, but I'd still be disappointed, lol.

That being said... if you're a man who likes below the knee shorts, or a woman who likes to see men in below the knee shorts... respect. This is just my silly, and perhaps a bit too "obsessive" opinion, haha.

Because it means we celebrate our bodies as life giving works of art <3

Short story to my Q&A I grew up in an adopted home, both parents worked good-paying jobs, so we never went without food, water power, we weren't rich but wealthy. When I was young I went through a phase of wanting the fancy things in life until I realized money can't buy happiness, because I wasn't taught lessons with money my parents always gave me what I wanted. anyway, my boyfriend of 6 months, lives in a poor community, and barely has food on the table, he has the power on in his house but for a while, they don't have enough to pay the water bill. They've struggled in life. I never knew how bad poverty is until I met someone who has lived in it or you in it.
Anyway, we are madly in love with each other and being with my boyfriend and seeing what my future could be like if I stayed with him. I realized what kind of commitment I'm going have to take, what I'm going have to leave behind to be with someone worth it as him

28F, yes I’m straight or if any other sexuality I’d be asexual. I download tinder 2 weeks ago & have been speaking to someone on it since. I took a chance & decided to not videochat/call him beforehand, lord I should’ve. He didn’t catfish me but I just got the vibe he is gay. He didn’t dress flamboyant, it was just the way he spoke. He seemed nice & after about 15 min I came to the realization that it’s tinder and I don’t owe him anything. The drinks took forever to come, I just told him I had a long day and something felt kinda off, it was nice to meet him, didn’t want him to waste his money on me & I dipped out. He was about to follow me out, I told him to stay put to make sure the waiter didn’t charge him but truthfully I didn’t want him to follow me to my car/look at my plate. He msged me after saying he wasn’t sure what happened & hoped I got home safe, I just deleted the app. Lesson learnt: moving fwd I’ll ALWAYS do a phone screening before meeting.
