I don't think it's so much the religion I think it's the people orchestrating the religion
I believe in all religions are parts of pieces of them I throw the rest away
I'm going to preacher stands up in front of me and tells me I have to do this or I have to do that otherwise I'm going to go to hell well that's when I get turned off and I don't go back to that place
As a matter of fact I haven't been to any of those places for years and years
I do believe in my God I believe in higher power I believe in energy and we are all energy and if you understand it you become very spiritual.
I've never read the Bible but there's a lot of things for some reason I know that are in there
We all have belief in disbelief but I think the biggest belief is find yourself first if you can find yourself then ask yourself what are you doing on this planet what is our goal who are we supposed to be
And for me I can only answer that in one way that is to become the best you can possibly become share that energy
Stay away from people to judge stay away from people that love or create drama.
I believe it's in the Bible it says to become one with yourself one with others and one with the universe and I think that's what we are all meant to do all negative is gone you clear it from your body your soul your spirit and you can feel the energy the positive energy and I believe that there's a heaven or hell then we would want to stride to be the best we could be to the universe

Cambodia was mostly Buddhist, and they had the Khmer Rouge. Not that the KR was a religious faction, but that people with that peaceful philosophy as their base belief still managed to turn murderous.
Judaism and Islam are pretty renowned for murdering, each other mostly. They've been back and forth in Europe for centuries.
It's not just about war, either. Pretty much any belief system, be it religious or political, can be dangerous when taken to the extremes of pushing those beliefs on other people. Which is fairly easy boundary to cross if your religion or political belief dictates something is "wrong" that other people don't. It's fine if you don't want to drink alcohol, but if you want to prevent others from doing it, bam, you might have a war on your hands.
Another consideration is oppression of others. Some beliefs are more oppressive of women, for example. Or condemn non-heteronormative, monogamous sexuality. When you are putting people to death for sex outside of marriage, there will be conflict with people who hold other ideologies.
Years ago Buddhist monks drove Muslims out of their area. An extremely telling act.
Because Buddhist monks are taught ONLY to defend themselves and NOT to engage in active warfare unless in defense of themselves. And yet despite tolerating other religions quite over the centuries they have NO tolerance for Muslims. That says a LOT about how Islamic are deemed a threat even by a legitimate peaceful religion.

Because Islam IS a dangerous religion. Particularly Sunni sect, they have no problems slaughtering Shia in countries like Pakistan even if those Shia are doctors, etc.
This became very obvious on a worldwide aspect with the rise of organizations like ISIS wherein a lot of European & American men went overseas to join ISIS. Almost NONE of these European or American men - those named had personality issues, constant runins with the law, problems with other people, etc. - were respectable people but instead the outcasts of their own society.
And that is widely what Islam appeals to. The least educated. The least achieving.
This is extremely apparent with the HAMAS who are telling 1.1 million people in the Gaza to stay and become cannon fodder while the Israelis are asking them to leave. The majority of HAMAS have so little morals or ethics that you can say they have none.
I've had an ongoing argument with some American on here about Palestine (I'm Palestinian by birth, grew up in US).
Majority of middle class or high class or well educated Palestinians don't live in the country anymore unless they're government or well established business owners. It's not intelligent to. It's actually, to varying degrees depending on area, dangerous to stay
all religions have potential to be dangerous because they can be used as an agenda to harm people, they're all great in theory sure but we all know religion causes a lot of problems too

Whether you view these freedom fighters as terrorists or champions of the common people depends on your perspective. If you believe the British had the right to rule over us, you might call them terrorists. Conversely, if you think the British were merely interested in business and lacked the authority to rule, you would consider them freedom fighters. The same actions, but two contrasting viewpoints. The media, power, and money influence which perspective gains traction.
Consider this: organizations like Al Qaeda, ISIS, Taliban, Hamas, and Hezbollah did not exist 20-30 years ago until the Arab nations discovered oil. These groups serve as political entities for their respective countries and fight to protect their land and resources. If you label them terrorists due to this, then it's worth noting that the United States has been involved in actions resulting in civilian casualties, such as the killing of 1 million Iraqis, and similar incidents in Syria, Afghanistan, and Libya. Interestingly, the U. S. is not commonly labeled as a terrorist country, nor is its defense force considered a terrorist organization.
While condemning the killing of innocent people in Israel, one must not overlook similar tragedies in Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Libya, Afghanistan, 9/11, London bomb blasts, Gujarat Massacre, and Ukraine. The presence of double standards and hypocrisy is evident to those who observe closely.

Yeah there's one that's way worse than the others.. Islam.. it's the only religion that says you have to fight other people and dominate them... the only religion that didn't get updates and still goes by 7th century morals.. Marrying children, women are commodities, desert tribal rules : sharia... Islam is the only religion that want us to live in the modern day , by the rules and way of life of some illiterate camel riders in middle east more than thousand years ago.. that's why Islam doesn't bring out thinkers or scientists or philosophers... nah mostly fighters and warlords lol.. it's anti life and definitely the most dangerous...
I think they all have the capacity to go off the rails. They are all run by humans that have imperfect foundations. Sooner or later you have humans that diddle little kids , kill people that are "non believers" or use the tax free church coffers as a piggy bank.
Most religions promote an us versus them. We are special. They are not. Most religions encourage closed perceptions and many operate on the principles of fear and guilt to ensure obedience and compliance.

Its fine as long as a person keeps their perception to their own individual self and to those they relate to. But as soon as they start seeing others with that lense of perception expecting them to be a certain way they deem to be correct, it gets toxic. This isn't just confined to religion tho, woke mob does the same.
One religion seems especially dangerous from the historical record. Paganism, as when it dominated you had the most massive amounts of slavery & torture methods. Christianity ushered in vast humanitarian improvements. However, it became corrupt & therefore caused problems of its own. Not the original Christianity but the corruption of it.

They have been the cause of wars and atrocities but it is not necessarily their fault. For instance the Jews were subject to the worst atrocity ever and the forefront of the most deadliest war but it was not their fault.

I don't think all are equally dangerous. For example a religious which says to kill unbelievers is more dangerous than one which doesn't say that.
All have the potential to be dangerous but some have a higher potential to be dangerous as a result of the content of it's scripture and the way it's leaders can twist it to their will.
