I for one enjoyed my time in two Christian denominations.

Ironically each time I met either Bishop or Archbishop they passed away from old age (as by that senior rank they often do die old) within about two or two and a half years.

I'll always remember "with (my) Bishops and Archbishops" - regardless of my denomination or affiliation. I remember them.

There's a wonderful harmony there, the appreciation for my confirmation male Archbishop Emeritus and the woman Bishop who welcomed me. They both left a lasting impact on me and my soul. I'll continue to carry their memories with me in my life here on-going. Aww 🙏🏻🥲🙂 praise God and the Saviour JC.

I used to be a big fan of The Secret by Rhonda Byrnes since 2006 but now I no longer believe in such nonsense.

at first I thought it was working for me until I realize it was just a huge placebo effect all along when I realized that even when I think positive in life shit still never when my way in life. lets not forget that in life everything is made of positivity and negativity so therefore believing that a human being must think positive 24/7 is a huge recipe for insanity. lets also not forget that book sold 33 Million copies yet how much of those 33 Million people who bought it are actually millionaires at the moment?

another reason why I refuse to believe such horseshit is because I realized that a lot of the people who do believe in the law of attraction act and behave like narcissist snobs. like my cousin for example, he was the one that introduced me to The Secret. this guy is the luckiest motherfucker alive, he started working at 14, later on we would go job hunting together and he would always get called from almost every where we applied while I had to always wait for a miracle.

but just when you thought that was enough he also applied to the state university and was immediately accepted with a nice cozy dorm, all the financial aid he needed. but when I tried to do the same I was rejected instead and then kept getting fucked over by community college and technical schools.

we even had a fallout recently and this guy had the audacity, balls, and nerves to tell me that the reason why all this has been happening to me is a result of the universe punishing me for being "negative"

If karma is there to make us feel pain, and people use the belief in karma/god to minimize emotional pain, then that necessitates karma to cause even more chaos in the physical world in order to finally force us to feel that original pain.

Christians are the same. Belief in salvation is used to silence the heart.

The message of religion appears to be that in order to end the suffering of one part, we must sacrifice another part. That is how karma needs to be extinguished, I agree. But mainstream religion has the parts switched:

I say suffer in your heart silently and karma will cease causing you physical and mental torment.

Religion says do these actions physically, avoid negative emotions, and hope for relief after death (or somehow feel pain without a body..)

If you always focus on the explanation of how it happened or say "it's in god's hands" to avoid feeling agony, then obviously no amount of pain will resolve your karma causing it.

Jesus said that to follow him has nothing to do with symbolizing or naming his name or using forgiveness to bypass the suffering, "disregard your own father, mother, wife, children, brothers, sisters, and your own life..." means be heartbroken at every single cope and distortion subconsciously committed especially by our family because we are raised to believe that our parents' flaws are not to be upset about. Most harm in the world is unintentional and still we must feel the ache, deleted from excusing, no matter how excusable.

Every single time I deal with someone who is "hyper religious," they are shockingly unkind. They memorize scripture and go to services just to turn around and gossip, judge, and treat outsiders like garbage.

You would think that devoting your life to a faith that preaches loving your neighbor would make you a better person. But in my experience, it does the exact opposite. They act like their religion gives them a free pass to be arrogant and mean, all while patting themselves on the back for being "righteous." It is pure hypocrisy.

When they try to move abroad and build a new life through hard work, they arrive before everyone else and leave after everyone else, yet they still endure those contemptuous looks.

Even in a CS game, when I introduced myself as a Black Muslim, the very first words I heard were the N-word, "pedophile," and "terrorist."

In this world, they have no one to turn to except Allah.
