According to Greek sources, during the Ottoman era, a Greek child once sang the adhan (call to prayer) as if it were just a song. The Turks who gathered around him said, 'What a beautiful voice you have, you are now a Muslim.' When the child replied, 'No, I am not,' they said, 'Now you have apostatized and become an infidel,' and executed him

Although children often grow up to resemble their parents, sometimes they make different choices. If your 18-year-old son told you that he had joined the Jewish community and wanted to wear a kippah and grow payot (sidelocks), how would you react?

There is no place for Circumcision of Babies in our society.

There are a few religions that practice this procedure one being the Jewish faith.

But did you know Circumcision of Babies in the Jewish faith could be stopped almost immediately if "The Principle of Pikuach Nefesh" was invoked by the Jewish people.

If a consensus emerged within the global Jewish Community that Circumcision is causing systemic, unnecessary harm to babies, which it is, the practice would be stopped.

There has been an Evolution of Rituals many in ancient biblical laws (such as specific forms of capital punishment or agricultural laws) are no longer practiced today because rabbinic interpretation deemed them no longer applicable or ethical in contemporary society.

Even today a growing modern movement within Judism called Brit Shalom (Covenant of Peace) or Brit Ben celebrates the welcoming of a baby boy explicitly omitting the surgical procedure.

Jewish families already choose this path without breaking their connection to their faith or identity.

Hopefully more religions and people quickly come to their senses, and the world eradicates this archaic practice.

The Church requires priests to be celibate. This has not always been the universal law of the Church though. Celibacy started as a regional practice, but was expanded and more strictly enforced over time until the 11th and 12th Centuries; Pope Gregory VII banned married priests from offering Mass in 1074 AD and the Second Lateran Council in 1139 made celibacy a formal requirement.

There have been increasing demands lately though for the Church to abandon the celibacy requirement. Whether you are Catholic or not, I'm interested to know your opinion. Should the Church continue to require celibacy? Why or why not?

It is also required for nuns, monks, sisters, and seminarians.

I fully believe in and support clerical celibacy and think it should continue.

Several years ago, people got dressed up, put on their finest clothes, when going to church.

Many things have changed over the years.

So here is a simple question.

Do you get dressed up when you go to church?

Today is the 25th anniversary in Islam's most severe attack in their ongoing war with the West. Are you confident that Iran would NEVER have used the nuclear weapons they were developing against us?
Take the poll.

I don't think Muslims should be persecuted or anything like that. I just think that their religion is terrible. Maybe some people look at Christianity the same way?

If you believe jesus skin was not the color on left, (maybe picture on right?) BUT you found it truly was the color of left portrait, would

Picture. Would you stop being a christian for this? Or continue? Or reject jesus or what?

Jews say a joke "messiah must be born to parents who do Europe custom, because if someone, who ate rice on passover, claims to be messiah he won't get accepted." Well, what about you?

And no this has nothing to do with bible thumping, the jesus thing just a coincidence out of thousands. What i am asking about is the peresence of these coincidences itself, it could have been and often is with many other names.

We have books of matt. and john. The books claim to be written by eyewitness as specified in text.

Opponents take the half truth "new testament completed" meaning compiled 100 year later, refer to eusibius but- attach that number falsely to first books! But today i add PROOF.

Flavius wrote a history. After the rebellion in year 66 he used the new roman name palaistine for the land by jordan river. Therefore the gospel of matthew that STILL used the name ISRAEL in 2:21 must be written between year 28 and year 66 before

the new name, that changed due to the rebellion. See?

Such groovy music. I don't own any links 😋

I for one enjoyed my time in two Christian denominations.

Ironically each time I met either Bishop or Archbishop they passed away from old age (as by that senior rank they often do die old) within about two or two and a half years.

I'll always remember "with (my) Bishops and Archbishops" - regardless of my denomination or affiliation. I remember them.

There's a wonderful harmony there, the appreciation for my confirmation male Archbishop Emeritus and the woman Bishop who welcomed me. They both left a lasting impact on me and my soul. I'll continue to carry their memories with me in my life here on-going. Aww 🙏🏻🥲🙂 praise God and the Saviour JC.

I used to be a big fan of The Secret by Rhonda Byrnes since 2006 but now I no longer believe in such nonsense.

at first I thought it was working for me until I realize it was just a huge placebo effect all along when I realized that even when I think positive in life shit still never when my way in life. lets not forget that in life everything is made of positivity and negativity so therefore believing that a human being must think positive 24/7 is a huge recipe for insanity. lets also not forget that book sold 33 Million copies yet how much of those 33 Million people who bought it are actually millionaires at the moment?

another reason why I refuse to believe such horseshit is because I realized that a lot of the people who do believe in the law of attraction act and behave like narcissist snobs. like my cousin for example, he was the one that introduced me to The Secret. this guy is the luckiest motherfucker alive, he started working at 14, later on we would go job hunting together and he would always get called from almost every where we applied while I had to always wait for a miracle.

but just when you thought that was enough he also applied to the state university and was immediately accepted with a nice cozy dorm, all the financial aid he needed. but when I tried to do the same I was rejected instead and then kept getting fucked over by community college and technical schools.

we even had a fallout recently and this guy had the audacity, balls, and nerves to tell me that the reason why all this has been happening to me is a result of the universe punishing me for being "negative"
