It is in some legal systems… Under Sharia law, it is strictly prohibited and it’s called zina.

Should it be against the law? No. But there are moral “rules” too. You should have some basic human decency and respect for the person you’re with.

There isn't even an unanimous definition of what counts as cheating... And it would be impossible to enforce. About as realistic as saying it's illegal to lie.

You can tell if someone is a real human being or not by taking off all kinds of laws and see how they react...

For example: you and a guy are stuck on an island, will he rape you? Will he be good to you? Will he act as if there's laws or become like an animal 🤔

It is in some places. Depending on where you live you can sue both of them. It should be highly illegal though. It is mentally torturing someone.

I’m not actually religious but I think yes it should be a crime but not something a person should be jailed/imprisoned for. They should just be forced to compensate the person they cheated on if it can be proven.
