I don't think it makes. I think non-religious people are inclined to this false belief because if some religions are better than others, this suggests that everyone should adhere to that religion. But that isn't necessarily the case. Just because one religion is better than another doesn't mean that religion is correct. It just means it's better than others.

No, it doesn't because that would imply that all religions are fundamentally the same. They're not. Christianity proclaims Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the Savior of the World, likewise in the Holy Trinity. Judaism and Islam reject both notions. Hinduism teaches reincarnation, whereas Christianity believes no such thing. Many Christian denominations don't even agree on many things. I could probably go on, but that would take way too long. But to reiterate, no, they are not all equal.

there's one underlying thing within every belief system, there is a belief in some sort of energy. God, Allah, Jehova, Source, Universe, etc are an energy. Even atheistic satanists believe at least that energy can be manipulated that is present within the universe. Religions teach that we have a spirit, which is energy too. there's that underlying thing but everybody has their own morals added on top and other beliefs. Now ones being better than others? Im not one to say. It depends on the person and if its good for them or not.
