Health and fitness have been part of my life ever since I can remember. When i was a kid it was something that my parents introduced me to. As a teen it was a tool that allowed me to burn all my surplus energy that would have otherwise transformed into negative emotions or feelings like anger, sadness, depression and so on. As an adult it has become healing, fitness and a way of life so I pretty much gained the awareness as an adult that allowed me to really prioritise my health and fitness because at this point in my life when my body and mind send me signals I listen.
I dunno. I've always had one foot in. I was always active even when I was fat. I loved climbing stuff and vaulting over stuff because I really believed I could learn to do parkour 😂. Then in my early 20s I went to the gym more. I worked on finding healthier eating habits.
Now most of my working out is staying active. I snowboard now and I still look for opportunities to climb as an adult where it's not completely out of place. I was actually helping a friend of mine tear down their distillery they're selling. And they have those big orange industrial shelves. I was climbing up and down those to break them down because they had really shitty ladders.
It was hard to hide my excitement. But even the old guy said something about he thought it was impressive I could move around so good for such a big guy.
I believe it's use it or you lose it. I'll let you know when it fails me.
Twice. 19 to about 25ish than i focused more on work and living. Than again about 37 to 42. Not that i've quit now. But at some point you realize you're fighting father time. And fitness becomes less about vanity and more about just not dying🤣, maintaining quality of life.👍💯
sa 10 year old i was terified i might die if i ate junkfood so i mostly ate salad steak all the good and healthy food. i rarly ate candy unless it was Halloween.
I was a fat kid that everyone picked on. In 9th grade I joined a gym in the next town. I worked out there because nobody knew me there. I worked out hard, lost weight and got in shape. i have made fitness a big part of my life.
Early to mid 20s that's when I ran and trained for my first marathon.
