+1 yIt varies from person to person and by what results you expect to achieve. Lose weight? Build muscle? Just get fit?
I've been working out my whole life. It takes a lot of discipline and a lot of people don't have it. They give up after a while if they don't see instant results. Different people have different genetics and body chemistries. Women and men are different. So it depends on all of these things. There is no single answer.
Best thing to do if you are inclined to try is to start out slow and light. Don't jump into it full force on day one. A lot of people do that and then quit because they start to dread their workouts and don't want to continue. If you are a beginner start off with short easy workouts... maybe even 15 or 20 minutes of light exercises. After a few weeks you will learn whether or not you are committed because if you can't do 15 or 20 minutes say 3 or 4 times a week, you won't be able to do an hour or two.
Try that for a few weeks... if nothing else it will probably make you feel good. Exercise has that effect.

Saw changes after maybe 5 weeks and then it took maybe two weeks more until others noticed it too. However, I felt much better after only 2 weeks of working out in combination with eating a balanced diet. I did 1-2 days of eating whatever I wanted depending on what would happen through the week. I tried to stay consistent by only doing one cheat day though.
The most important thing is to find something that works for you and it can be a lot of trial and errors - be kind to yourself, always! The goal is to you find motivation to workout and go back to whatever training you choose to do. ❤️

+1 yI used to exercise regularly and I never saw a change in weight or body contours. The only time I saw a change is when I did muscle training, saw massive results very quickly when I did muscle work outs but did it less than a month those two times and quit. One was a one hour training session that put muscles on my arms that lasted over a year. Another was a five minute calves work out that put muscles on my calves that lasted over 5 years, I just did the work out five minutes a day for 5 weeks.

+1 yIt took about 3-4 months, but even when I eased off due to physical necessity, my body continued to lose bulk, even though my weight increased a bit. Muscle is denser than fat, and the exercise built more dense muscle. So even though my body weight stayed the same/increased a bit, I was still looking trimmer since more of the blubber was gone.
00 Reply 356 opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. It's depends on your starting point and genetics , but in my view you will certainly start to see some results in 3/4 weeks , be sure to include a sustainable Cardio plan , which won't do much to look ( maybe weight loss ) but it will keep the body strong , and help a bit with toning.
Your plan needs to be sustainable so don't go in too hard initially commit to 20 mins , then some Cardio , and don't forget to include a balanced diet , with ZERO fast food.
A program like above , you will be feeling so good that you will be looking forward to next time.
Good Luck.00 Reply
+1 yI usually see results in 1 or 2 months, because I just need some toning.
That being said, I have not been active for the past 2 months because of leg injury, I am allowed to do some exercises laying down, so I have started and hope to see the results in a month or two.

+1 yI've never been inclined to go to the gym, but I did do physical therapy for a year for a shoulder injury. My arms and back got much more defined, even working out for short periods of time only once a week at the physical therapy gym and otherwise only with resistance bands at home. My wife was very complimentary lol.
00 Reply1.9K opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. I dont go to the gym but I work-out/exercise at home. I saw and felt a difference even after the first week.
But right now, I do it to maintain my weight mainly because I don't want to cut off eating unhealthy stuff.
Exercising helps me both mentally and physically. It helps me reduce my anxiety and I feel better due to the endorphins after exercising.00 Reply- 823 opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic.
+1 yAbout two weeks.
My significant change:
I figured out that it's pointless to spend time in a place that stinks from body sweat, is populated by posers and ''life stylers' - when at the same time outdoors activity offers fitness as well, and with a lot more fun.

+1 yDepends on a lot of things.. I've been working out for a lot of my life, so when I got to the gym and start training specific body groups, I saw changes pretty quick.. Especially when I started eating better and doing cardio.. It was within months.. But it usually takes years before you see significant changes.

+1 yAt least two to three years, but a lot also depends on your genetics, if it is favourable even after one year you might gain results.
as a rule, able-bodied people should take at least two to three years.

"Yeah bro but it’s important to have 28 grams of protein as soon as I finish my workout"
Fuck that noise brother.
