I don't do that shit. I don't report anyone.
I won't be the reason that someone loses their job. I am not cutthroat like that. I prefer discussing it with the person and telling such things upfront.
If they want to they can feel free to report me I don't give a shit, but I won't do that shit to another person
It depends on who is harmed and the amount of the harm. I will not report a coworker for stealing a donut or less than $1 unless it recurs, for being late, reading a newspaper, or napping on the job, unless it is a security issue.
For stealing money or something with a value of $10, I might say, "Put it back." I would report larger amounts or actions that harm other co-workers.
I speak up if it's necessary depending on the situation. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother.
Some people will keep doing something without a care for how it affects others, so in those situations it's better to say something.
You have to be able to compartmentalize. Coworkers are not your friends. Sometimes they may become your friends but that's not the expectation in the workplace.
There's no guilt if the reasons are justified
For me to report a co worker is a very slim chance that I would. , the only way I would report a co worker is if my job was in jeopardy from something they do , so I would still feel bad but covering g my ass is most important
I have never done such a thing, and I don’t think I ever would... unless they were doing something that affected me personally, and I had found myself unable to resolve the issue...
Nope. But i prefer being upfront about it to them first, or instead. Currently putting up with that crap actually.
I've never had to. If I did though, how I felt about it would probably depend on whether I liked them or not.
Not something I do , or at least didn't have to.
I don’t report moderators and I don’t Report Co workers I live by the codes. I stand united with my Fellow workers. I’m not a weasel. I don’t sell out
No because he would have done something pretty bad for me to do that.
I am not a squealer. I never rat out a fellow employee.
Nope. Nor firing them
Depends entirely on if I like them or not...
What its something you have to report
If I had to, then I would but I'd feel a little guilty if I liked them and none if I didn't.
It depends on what they have done
Depends 🤷♂️
The crime lol
Sure, if they have a negative impact I might mention it.

I’ve reported coworkers a few times in my career—always uncomfortable, never guilt-free at first.
What helped me:
- Ask: Is this a safety, legal, ethical, or repeated performance issue? If yes, you’re protecting others and the organization, not “betraying” someone.
- Document facts, not feelings.
- Use proper channels (manager, HR, ethics line).
- If possible, give feedback directly first, unless it’s serious or unsafe.
Feeling uneasy is normal; it shows you have empathy. Guilt usually eases when you remember *why* you spoke up.
