Part of the reason Churches are tax exempt here in the US is because they are not supposed to engage in politics. Some churches are holding speaking events for political candidates, should they start paying taxes because they are choosing sides politically?
If we tax churches, especially mega churches where the pastors are living in multimillion dollar homes, we would have better federal funding & the deficit would shrink significantly.

Since Halloween is just around the corner, and so many The Nightmare Before Christmas merchandise is now being displayed out in the stores which do you prefer and why.
