People are more daring to tell the truth to people online because it cannot come back to them. Take person from Asia that I meet on here they are not gonna be tell my secrets to anyone I know personally IRL.
More daring also means willing to lie and create stories up because they cannot be caught in the lie without proof they didn't do that which would have to be IRL.
So I don't think it changes much about people been more honest but it does allow people to be more daring about lying or telling the truth.

I do not act the same online and offline at all. I rarely talk offline. I'm too shy to make banter, and I would definitely never choose to interact with girls like I do on here because I have absolutely 0 confidence in myself. If someone I knew found me on here I'd have to move to another planet.

I'm more confident online. But more myself? I don't know...

I think sometimes I fall into a persona online. Like a character I've built in my mind, someone who's more upbeat, more playful, even more sexual at times.

But maybe that is actually the real me. How do I know this 'character' isn't who I actually am, and I'm just too afraid to act like my real self offline?

So yes, I do act different. But I don't know which is more honest.

Online is not good. I have met many manipulative people. Talk to that person and be sweet, you will get what I am telling. Better if it is a guy who is talking to her

People tend to be more aggressive and outspoken online then they maybe IRL. I'd say that's just due to the "distance' that being online gives you.

Real life, because they can't lie as well as they can online. People can make up anything online with no way to prove it.

In my experience, I'm more honest with my true personality online, where as I have to hide my feelings in public, hold back emotions.
