Appologies for the long read!

Backstory:
I walked into the drugstore barefaced, hair in a bun, wearing birkenstock sandals, black running leggings, & black graphic t-shirt with joker on it. I went in to purchace some eyebrow pencils- (I have pretty thick eyebrows already, but as the perfectionist I am, I must shape them so that they're EXACTLY even. Kind of like how Death The Kid is obsessed with symmetry, I too get triggerd when things aren't perfectly symmetrical. I used to use eyeshadow to shape them, but I hate how scruffy the lines come out & clean up w makeup wipes I have to do, due to fall out. So, I wanted to test if pencils would come out looking better.)

Context:
Anways, as I stand infront of the register while the cashier rings up my items, he lifts up one of the pencils then looks at me... then the pensils... and then me again.. 😐 And our conversation went like this:

Cashier- Is this for you?
Me- Yes
Cashier- Can I be honest with you-
Me- uh.. sure?
Cashier- Makeup is made for a specific type of woman. [continues anti-makup rant] natural always trumps it
Me- It's just for fun
Cashier- In todays society nothing is done for fun
Me- *awkward smile* ... ok

(My dad was with me aswell) As we leave the establishment my dad says that cashier was "hitting" on me bc he thought I was "beautiful." (A toxic lie dads always tell their daughters)🤦🏽‍♀️ Nevertheless, I've never been more confused in my life by a conversation. I don't know & idc if he was trying to flirt bc It sounded more a lot more like patranizing & scolding than it did flirting. Sounded more like a: 'you're too ugly/it's deception' or a 'your eyebrows are too big' kind of speach. All I know is that as a cashier, don't lecture costumers about what THEY buy with THEIR money. Just ring up our shit & shut up.

But do any of you understand his point he was trying to make? I wish I could remember the rest of his one-sided rant.

If you did know, would you be honest and tell someone they just annoy you if they asked you or would you pretend there’s an actual problem?

I see people get unhinged with otters and I think like, WHY?

if you’re mad say the problem so you can spice it, and if there’s no problem and that person just annoys you, you don’t HAVE to talk to them. Same as if you are having a bad day. Just keep it moving. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Just in general.

Doctors in states that allow for limited abortions are already waiting too long to give women abortions until it's almost too late to save the mother.

An entoptic pregnancy can be fatal for the host & does not produce a viable fetus that would survive.

Going into labor in the first & early second trimester & not being able to expel the fetus can lead to major infections of the uterus & even death if not aborted. Even if a fetal heart beat is still detected, there is poor chance that the fetus will survive or develope properly.

Rape & incest victims have a higher chance of suicide if forced to give birth to their rapists/incest baby.

Maternity wards are closing in states like Texas in high numbers or are limited on days they are open & some don't have a close backup hospital. Leaving the mother to either give birth in the ER & be sent home after their baby is just hours old without being monitored for post-birth complications OR attempt to make it to the next hospital sometimes an hour or further away OR trying to be induced into labor on the first day the ward is open, only to be sent home because labor is taking too long & they are closing the ward.

Is the USA prepared to deal with this & so much more?

I’m on a dating app and this app has features for both genders to post pics to see who it attracts. Well I see this single mom posted a pic of her child in the hospital. To which I found disturbing because it’s a dating app with most guys looking for sex. That I didn’t think it was appropriate for this mom to post her child in a vulnerable moment. I mean I didn’t know what she was thinking or trying to gain. Would you do something like this on a dating app?

Hello there internet. I am a 24 year old girl who doesn't know that much about fashion, but I like to wear whatever's cute and comfortable whether that be a dress or just a tank top and short shorts. I also live in Florida, so it's hot, so that usually equates to less clothes and very few long pants (only in winter).

My parents tell me I show too much skin, though I don't know if it's actually true or they're just old-fashioned. Most of my peers seem to take no issue with the way I dress with very few exceptions.

The picture attached is an average outfit of mine, and more or less the most amount of skin I'd show at once. Legs/thighs and arms/shoulders but no stomach or cleavage showing, basically.
