I can only imagine how difficult it might be. You probably have to be pretty savvy with computers and cellphones to find one on line, which I am not and probably a lot of people have trouble finding work via cyber space. I am just curious how people get hooked up with employment and wonder if that may be part of the reason there are so many openings because it's so difficult. I will start a pole below and read your opinions as well. Maybe Y'all can get some new ideas. A💡 idea (lightbulb moment) 🙂

So from time to time I have been known to drop a few hundred dollars on friends just because I see them want something I know they can't afford even though they never asked me to do it. I have bought different friends a bed frame and mattress, a Nintendo Switch, sent them money just so they could order out, and even just dropped a few hundred so one friend could start a secured credit card and build credit for a house she wants one day.

I have been there myself and know what it is like to struggle. I remember a time when $25 was our monthly grocery budget. I never asked for money, but it would have probably been nice to get it. I feel like I have been blessed financially now with our jobs, my kids are well taken care of and we have everything we could possibly want. My spouse is perfectly fine with it, but I worry about the perception of it.

Would you be grateful if it were you receiving the gift or would you feel like that person is flaunting their money over you?

Do you like city life more or do you like living in the countryside? Or a mix of them both?

I'm currently talking to a guy on a dating app. He asked me for my IG and I gave it to him. He's started messaging me on IG but hasn't sent me a friend request (My IG is private). He also told me he doesn't use IG that much. Something seems odd. Why would you ask someone for their IG, message them but not send them a friend request? Also, this morning he messaged me asking for more pictures. Why would he do that when he could just send a friend request and see my pictures on my IG account?

I asked one of my friends and she said that's a sign the person isn't looking for a relationship and just wants something casual.

Omar Safdar, 30, of Oldham was part of a gang of sexual predators who raped the girl, aged between 14 and 16, in the Keighley area of West Yorkshire over a period between 2008 and 2009.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) said a total of eight men were found guilty of 23 counts of rape and two of conspiracy to rape in two separate trials at Bradford Crown Court last year.

The CPS said two were sentenced last year and four more were jailed on Friday.

The CPS said the six sentences so far were: Omar Safdar, 30, of Oldham – 12 years, Nazir Khan, 30, of Keighley – 12 years and an extended eight-year licence period, Kamran Hussain, 29, of Keighley – five years, Imran Sabir, 42, of Keighley – 12 years, Hasan Basharat, 32, of Keighley – 12 years and Baber Hussain, 36, of Bradford – 13 years.

Two others are yet to be sentenced

The woman – who was raped by multiple men– said she hoped the convictions and sentences would help other survivors of child sexual exploitation to come forward.

Prosecutors said the girl was driven to parks, flats, and isolated places where she was raped by the men.

In a statement issued through West Yorkshire Police on Friday, the woman said: “The driving force for me to keep going through all of this was so that it prevents it from happening to other people, and also it might help other people come forward.”
Ed Hulbert, from the CPS, said: “These eight men cynically manipulated and ruthlessly exploited a young and vulnerable girl. “They plied her with drugs and alcohol and abused her systematically and repeatedly. They raped her when she was alone and unprotected. “They are now facing lengthy prison sentences. “The victim has displayed immense courage and resilience in reporting these crimes and helping us to build a robust case to put before a jury.
