I’ve always found myself having lots in common with guys up to 10 years younger and up to 30 years older. But despite the age difference, I always just saw it as nice to find someone who can relate (rather than date). I personally have no interest in dating or screwing anyone with a 5+ years difference and find myself stating that a lot because my kindness often gets mistaken for romantic interest. I admit, there have been about 5 exceptions to the rule that I got quite flirty with but that was often because i found out about their age last minute. Even though I’m mainly referring to older men, I definitely feel its anyones best bet to ask for a person’s age before you start to fall for em 🙃 #AgeDifference

Children are important but more important than that are 2 people that are right for each other. I could understand a 10 year she gap being too much for some people but 5 years? Not so much. I don't see a point I'm getting hung up on stage 3 if we can't even get through stage 1 of the relationship. I want kids but fully acknowledge that we are in a time where we may very well be better off not having them. The world is different today then when I was alive. People don't care about family anymore, it's all about themselves now. " So last thing I would concern myself with would be a 5 year age gap. Besides you might end up with a guy 3 years older than you and once you're married you find out he shoots blanks. Would you leave him over that if he was the best thing that ever happened to you? Let me tell ya I don't know if my girlfriend can have kids, but she treats me better than any other girl I've ever known. When I was injured on the hospital for 4 days she came in with my favorite foods, spent 8-12 hours with me, spoon fed me, literally wiped my ass because I couldn't, helped me get around on my walker, tuck me in. She took me all over California and Nevada on her dime basically, treated me to lots of dinners etc. Is it right to leave her because she can't have kids? I'm gonna say no way on hell. Sometimes we have to accept that God has different plans for us and that ultimately He controls a great deal of our lives. Your perfect match might be 8 years older than you and that's okay. Down syndrome is much more reliant on the wan than the man. Other stuff can happen from men but it's far less likely and shit I mean Larry King had babies at like 80 or some shit lol. Not telling you to go that old just saying. Bessi sterility is much higher in the younger gener of men, as are major hormone imbalances that affect their overall health and life expectancy

I might be the odd one out but I don't really care about her age of course I would want her to be@8 or up so I don't get seen as a pedo I can date a girl much younger than I of course there brain is still trying to develop the same apply to the opposite I can date an older woman the only downside she probably already has a lot of life experience or she might already have a child. I've never been pursued someone that's considerably younger than me, the younger I've been in a relationship with is about four years old... and, although it has not happened yet, I have considered a relationship before, with someone that was about 10 years older than me

by experience, I know that I can be friends and I can also be in relationships with people that I have a lot in common with as well as having less common with them, it has never been an issue to me, so is not something I use as a parameter to favour or unfavour friendships or relationships both

This wasn't a romantic relationship at all but I recently came across a girl who was 16. She opened up to me about a lot of stuff and I could really relate. She was just like me at that age. We both found out we had a lot in common and liked a lot of the same stuff.

She asked if we could be friends and hangout. I'm 24 and I felt extremely uncomfortable and sad when she asked me this. I'm a adult and she's a child. I'm dating a man 21 years older than me and it is BY FAR the best relationship of my life. I think a lot of that has to do with the fact he's so much older. Guys my age I've been with have been immature, uninterested in real commitment, didn't appreciate me, and only wanted to get in my pants (and weren't interested in making me feel good when we got there). However, he is very mature, very interested and willing to commit, makes me feel very appreciated, and wants me for a lot more than sex (but when he gives it to me he's so much better at it, and cares so much more about my experience).

I'm (very happily) married to a man 15 years younger. When I first met him I actually did notice we had a lot in common and he was super fun to be around (and hot). However, I didn't seriously consider him as a possible romantic/sexual partner for a long time because I was so concerned about he age gap. I 100% intended in keeping things platonic for a long time. It depends on the stage of life I'm at. Right now I can see myself dating a 40 year old if she had a similar mindset about life. I can also see myself dating an 18 year old if she was mature enough. However, if I'm 60 years old, I'd rather not date someone that's 70 and going to die or has alzheimers and stuff. Good friends are very rare and extremely hard to come by. Friendships are definitely where it's at, the older we become. We all need strong support networks (for companionship, advice, support, and emergencies). I'd really try to be a good friend to a person I click with when a significant age difference exists. People with huge age gaps who become sexually active will eventually experience psychological problems, in my opinion.

I don’t really see age as a factor. If a guy is in his mid 30s but he’s with a girl 10 years young then him it’s not a big deal. Unless it’s 15+ years then yeah it could pose a problem. But for the guy is it entirely his fault if he couldn’t date or if he kept getting rejected when he was younger? Maybe it’s finally his time. I’ve seen younger women in Hollywood date or marry older men.

It’s not easy being a guy in this world today. Girls and women will be courted. Teenage years are usually the immature phase, 20s is when you do your school stuff and having fun with friends phase, by your 30s ideally is when you should meet someone. Not everything in life aligns with everything we vision. If I find a girl who’s 10 years younger then me and we both love each other then that’s all that matters.

I don’t feel the need to be a teacher to the opposite sex. Now if someone asked me for advice that’s different. But really you learn life through your mistakes.

On principle I don't discriminate based on age (as long as they are at least 18+/adults) and I'd open to date if I find them attractive and we have chemistry, that's more important factors between friendship and possible romance for me.
Though in practice I am rarely attracted to men outside the range 25-40 years old, and I don't hit hard on others, but flirting can evolve into more and I will not stop that just because of age.
