I don’t see value in it anymore. I’ve been on some dates and I can’t see myself falling in love with a girl. I just feel like men and women are too similar that it’s not attractive - we both work hard and are independent so it’s just basically meaningless. I just don’t think women are being women anymore. Something is not right in society.

When there's an accident with a fatality some USA Americans create a roadside memorial where their loved one bit the dust.

Vehicle memorials SEEM more nationality / ethnicity / class related by me in NYC with Italian & Hispanic heritage people doing it. Class wise it's a working class thing.

Apparently it's also an entire business model selling crap for a marker.

Is it weird that people would want to memorialize the spot it happened instead of a traditional grave?

The term was already used too often and in unrelated situations but now it seems that it’s the new derogatory term being thrown around since now that Amy Coney Barret voted against Trump she’s suddenly just a “DEI” hire which seems like just an insult to throw at her for not voting the way Trump and his supporters wanted her to vote.

In the realm of running about chasing balls and colliding with other participants in a sport, there are obvious physical contact occasions. This leads to all sorts of notions of how spectators view the players. In this context how do the following sports compare in terms of the hotness of the participants in the eyes of you as a viewer.

I often hear people saying that we should respect everyone’s opinions but I’ve also seen people say something completely false and then say that it’s just their opinion. An opinion is something that isn’t right or wrong so claiming something that is factually wrong as an opinion shouldn’t be respected.

Considering that NATO can only invite countries that meet the alliance's standards (democratic level, military technology, military structure, transparency, etc.), and they can accept or even refuse the invitation, should NATO become an exclusive club only for current allies and nothing more?

By the way, NATO would now also have the option of accepting nations from outside Europe and North America. Theoretically, anyone who meets the standards could apply to become a member or be invited as one.
