Do you believe in entities? Ghosts? Spirits? Or there’s always an explanation for strange things?

It sounded like someone tried to open my door. Everyone is asleep. It’s 3:33am

I turned off the lights and came to lay down only with the light from the screen 📺 of my phone 📱 searching scrolling through the questions on here answering stuff

when suddenly it sounded like someone tried too open my door. I froze and after the second of freezing I clicked in the flashlight of my phone 💡 to point to the doorknob 🚪

but there’s nothing

just silence

nobody said anything

just silence…

that’s so creepy

then I grab my other phone and turn on the flashlight on that one and leave it on facing the door as I’m typing this

and suddenly I look up just to see if I can hear anything else and I get frightened! It looks like there’s a man standing there

This is what I saw

my heart ♥️ accelerated!!! and I quick turn on my light again from this phone and see it’s my coat! Hanging there in the hook and the other phone casted a shadow from it and it looks like a man just standing there with pointy ears I thought it was like the devil

freakin night!

and I have nobody to talk with.. so I’m typing it here

so scary!

I still don’t know who or what tried to open my door. Why would anyone do that at 3 am and not say anything?

And if so, ..

do you believe they can actually move things?

I know certain things can move like a paper or cup with the wind or some other movement of something else and can seem scary like paranormal, but have an explanation.. but a door? Sounding like trying to open?

what’s a rational explanation for that one?

that’s what’s creeping me out.

and some people say that IF entities are real, that you shouldn’t open doors or else it’s like inviting them in? So I won’t open the door.

what do you guys think? Hmmm

I don’t believe in entities etc but that shadow is creepy

I do believe in that stuff and I’ll post in the comments what I believe

I don’t believe in that and I wouldn’t be scared if I heard a noise and then saw that shadow

Considering some of my sisters often had similar experiences on separate occasions with things they'd witnessed in our attic... And since there's some family members I wish were still around and it helps me accept that they aren't physically, I'm going for yes.

Yes, I believe. My sister's house is haunted and her kid was physically pushed clear across the room by one. My ex-fiance saw one in her apartment and talked with her for a few minutes.

I would never talk with anything. That’s an invitation. And I would move fast from a place if a co old is being moved and tossed that’s so scary is he okay?

Well, this was just a little girl about 5 years old but she was dressed like she was from 150 years ago. My ex was leaving the house to go to school and she spotted this little girl standing at the end of the hall and went over to see who she was and where she came from. Nobody else in the place has any kids. After they talked, she left the house for a split second then remembered that she forgot something, went back in to get it and the girl was gone!!
My nephew was in the kitchen one evening when the woman, also dressed in clothes from over a century ago, came up from out of his basement. He talked to her for a second and when she saw him she shoved him clear across the kitchen and vanished!
Yes, he's alright. Maybe a small bruise, if anything at all. Moments later he called us up to tell us about it. Sometimes their t. v. turns on blasting loud in the middle of the night or they see long dead people walking around in the house, or the smoke detectors come on, even if there's no batteries in them, a set of rosary beads ends up on the floor across the room from the nail they've been hanging from. According to my grandmother, that house used to be a funeral parlour about 100 years ago. She should know, she used to live around the corner from it and her father was an undertaker.

What could explain the doorknob moving and trying to be opened suddenly?

It's just illusions only, you were alone, so we think something is like this happening

No. I didn’t think it. It was a loud sound of the knob moving. When you try to open a locked door chuck chuck struggle noise.

Yes spiritual stuff like ghosts might be in our time. Demons were once here but after Jesus crucified, demons can't and didn't come to physical worlf anymore.

And why do you think k those happen?

It's a clear sign the individual lacks spiritual protection and they are being targeted by demonic influences, the only way to prevent that is having a connection to God, my guess would be that they are probably trying to get the person into deeper stuff like crystals or dreamcatchers or any other falsely new religion stuff that will prevent them from finding God and will claim protection against spirits, God is the only true protection against demonic influences, anything else are demonic influences or illusions or tricks
