Yes and no. I believe that since we are made of energy, some of that energy can leave residue behind (because that's how that works, especially heat) and that if "live energy" is a thing, then a ghost is just that. However, I don't believe in ghosts as just supernatural souls that haven't crossed into the afterlife yet; more so, they're just "echos" of a once living person's life energy. So I voted "No" cause you're probably thinking of like, Casper and Patrick Swayze and sh*t.
I think it's impossible to know exactly what a "ghost" is. I do know that there are benevolent and malevolent energies. One thing I definitely believe is that there are unseen forces that can't be explained by science, which of course goes against science itself. But will we ever truly know all the secrets of our universe and existence itself?
If there are evil spooky phantoms, then why do they spend all of their energy and ability to interact with the living world trolling people at night by slamming doors and moving chairs around and such? Seems like a ghost would do more than just troll people. Maybe try to send a message to a living loved one, ask how they can cross over into the afterlife, or do, I dunno... ANYTHING else but just play pranks on people's furniture.
Yes I do believe in ghosts and spirits. I have experienced a number of things in my life which have convinced me otherwise.
However I think there is a differentiation between a ghost and a spirit that people may not recognise. Ghosts I believe are energetic remnants of those have have left their astral body. Spirit on the other hand is pure consciousness which used to inhabit both the astral body and the physical body.
I've experienced the paranormal ever since I was little. And so has my family. And no, it's not psychosis lol, because I've had people witness things with me. And my workplace has had odd unexplained things going on. I've read a lot about forms of the occult and different religions to try to gain a better understanding of what's out there. We will never fully know, but still. It's probably what led me to my pagan beliefs lol.
I do. As i have felt spirits. Sure, those who never encountered such a thing probably won't believe but i've had...3 occasions where something talked to me or touched me.
I've been touched by spirits as well. I've actually been scratched by one. I remember I went to take a shower and I had a big claw mark on my thigh. I would have known if a dog had jumped on me and scratched me or something. I was dumb as a teenager and me and my friend at the time tried to connect with spirits and all kinds of crazy unexplainable things happened around that time. We're lucky something bad didn't happen to us.
They are not spirits/ghosts. They are literally evil angels (demons). They arenât childrens story monsters or people whoâs souls have are stuck. When people die, they are literally dead, no soul, no hell or heaven. Eternal sleep until the 2nd coming, which is exactly what the Bible says. Unfortunately a lot of religions interpret the word differently. Some believe people go straight to heaven or hell when they die. Some believe their family members are suffering eternal hell flame for their bad works and they must give money and do good deeds to get their dead family members out.
I worked in medical fields for 10 years before changing my focus to pathology. I worked in medical examiners offices for nearly 25 years and can tell you that zombies had every reason to come after me but they never did. My wife and I have seen apparitions at the same time in our own house. Bottom line is simply this. We have never been harmed by our perceived ghost. Also certain medications we prompt you to see hallucinations.
As for me I believe in a lot of things. I believe in love, I believe in luck & so much more. I believe in the Loch Ness Monster & I believe in Bigfoot. I believe in the strange & unusual & strange & unusual I am. I believe in UFOâs & extraterrestrials & I believe we are not alone. I believe in the paranormal & ghosts/spirits included.
I believe in the spirits of light, such as Rafael, Michael, Gabriel; and in the spirits of fire, or jinn, such as the Satan. My Algerian comrade swears that ghosts are jinn. I donât believe them looking like transparent people that can go through walls, and used to be live people, like Nearly Headless Nick.
Most definitely I worked as a janitor in churches and some of those old ones especially the basements have some weird s#! t going on I was down there on night and some thing fell then a rush of cold wind passed right through my chest.
I got my a$$ the fâk out of there as fast as I could. The minister said what happened to you and I told him and he said thatâs the second time this month.

I think there are things in the universe that we cannot perceive with our senses. Every once in a while people can catch a glimpse of something. I do not think they are the remnants of people who are dead,
I want to believe in spirits as it gives credence to an afterlife but being a man of science and not directly observing âghostsâ personally that could not be plausibly explained away makes the belief extremely difficult.

You go think the lock ness monster exists I am sure you are correct and I am the childish incorrect one for following science and logical reasoning. Guess Dawkins and Hawking's are all just idiots to you which would make sense, after studies show that some people who aren't very smart cannot see beyond themselves thinking they are the smartest person around.

People like you, people who bring up the "flying spaghetti-monster" are just parroting the nonsensical garbage of people like the two you mention here, Hawking and Dawkins. Those two don't (or in the case of Hawking, didn't) understand even the most basic arguments for the existence/non-existence of God, why people believe what they do, or anything else outside their fields. Instead of relying on people you perceive to be "smart", why don't you actually come up with something original?
