A few weeks ago my wife went to the hospital for stomach pain.

They did a CT Scan of her abdomen and thankfully didn't find anything serious.

Today we got the bill in the mail: $9,117.42

How This Poll Was Conducted

• Interviewers spoke with 913 voters nationwide from April 21 to 24, 2025.

• Times/Siena polls are conducted by telephone, using live interviewers, in both English and Spanish. Overall, 97 percent of respondents were contacted on a cellphone for this poll.

• Voters are selected for the survey from a list of registered voters. The list contains information on the demographic characteristics of every registered voter, allowing us to make sure we reach the right number of voters of each party, race and region. For this poll, interviewers placed more than 120,000 calls to more than 35,000 voters.

• To further ensure that the results reflect the entire voting population, not just those willing to take a poll, we give more weight to respondents from demographic groups that are underrepresented among survey respondents, like people without a college degree. You can see more information about the characteristics of our respondents and the weighted sample at the bottom of the page, under “Composition of the Sample.”

• The margin of sampling error among registered voters is plus or minus 3.8 percentage points. In theory, this means that the results should reflect the views of the overall population most of the time, though many other challenges create additional sources of error.

For those out of the loop; Trump claimed that USA and China are currently negotiating about tariffs, however according to China they were not aware of any such talks taking place.

Trump has deported less people than Obama. It's almost like Trump was selected to give people the illusion they were getting what they wanted

In reality i believe that the terrorists, BLM and Antifa to riot again.

I know i can't state publicly what i would do if i was the victims father. The victims family has been subject to swatting. Which can get you killed. I guarantee if the races were reversed people would be screaming for the death penalty for the killer. But no, Everyone is making excuses.

The Media repeatedly reports on the negative effects of tariffs, how they will raise prices, and how people are upset about that.

What the media fails to do is talk about the complete effects of tariffs. Yes, they will raise prices for American consumers... on discretionary goods that Americans purchase, goods they don't have to purchase, like gadgets from China. As prices rise, demand for those goods will fall, which causes the Law of Supply and Demand to kick in. In other words, the supplier (in a foreign country) will lower its prices to maintain a reasonable demand... and profit margin.

Over time, prices and trade amounts will stabilize, resulting in a more favorable trade balance for the receiving country, the United States (considering Trump's tariffs).

Simply put, tariffs are not the evil that the media professes them to be.
