That would strike me as creepy. With no other context. It's not that I wouldn't be able to look past it... maybe... in some specific contexts? (say... she's always been super-into zoology. And especially cranial zoology shit. Then... ok... weird, but not creepy. But certainly weird.)

I do not view it like collecting coins or something innocuous. I would want to know what is happening in a person's mind (somewhat at least)... that would compel them to be interested in; and to collect animal skulls.

I think my answer is: "I would be unsettled... and have some questions I would need answered."

It isn't necessarily creepy, in some specific contexts. But in general... I would think that the person is NOT someone I would be looking to get to know better (knowing only this particular thing about them. Devoid of all context).

This house is full of skulls, not all real, of course. My husband has a real life human medical display skeleton he bought at an auction. We dress it occasionally just for giggles.
