Yes and no. Yes because it’s the creation of life and the reason women were worshipped over men in the beginnings of society. No because men then took their part in it as a reason to turn everything patriarchal and ruin everything

I’m talking about anthropology. It’s a known fact the first deities we know of were all women/goddesses, society used to be ruled by priestesses, these are documented facts. The patriarchal stuff didn’t happen until men realized women couldn’t have children if they never had sex with a man.

And so there were male deities because they could beget lives on this planet without any effort by just spreading seed, or because of wars, or because they are stronger, etc. And those “priestesses” and al that is just some fetishism going on. The patriarchy is in my opinion natural since they are stronger and built to lead. Hence why throughout history, it was men/father who ruled the household. That is natural. And what the narrative is trying to say about how patriarchy is bad because “system oppression women” is just nonsense.
