My boyfriend and I talking about a case where man was wrong but he keeping he did right I told him he is not then he said ik but idc I will make jokes and then he keep saying I am gonna make a joke on patriarchy ( he cracked some tho not much offending but still ) I said do not crack joke like this they are quite triggering I explained him why. I have seen patriarchy since I don't even know what it. I saw my mother or other women going through this so I found it triggering but he keep saying it's not a bad thing it's just a joke I will make and then I don't know in the middle of convo he said if I can said anything to God it will f u for me all this thing is not smthg I can settle with so we decided to have brk up

After 3 days he messaged me and said that I am sorry but uh should say sorry also I replied that ur too late for sorry and why should I say sorry then he said he shouldn't make joke but I also got triggered and it was fault only.

Guys I don't know but I found myself dumb here and decided not to talk anymore so was it a good decision or was I really wrong or I make a small issue bigger I don't know he was my only frnd and my 1st love I just don't know

This question is more for fellow wheelchair users or people willing to put themselves in my shoes for a minute. Today someone text me asking a question about my wheelchair. Its someone who i talk to on a regular basis and today for whatever reason they abbreviated wheelchair to wc. This person has never used chat speak with me before. And yes, they are able bodied and work in an apartment building for the disabled. Is it weird they felt comfortable abbreviating wheelchair to wc, or am I just too sensitive? To me it almost seems a bit lowkey ableist, as if theyre trying to cover up the fact we're in a wheelchair.
