Why do I want romance when cats fulfill me more emotionally than men do?

I have never met a man who makes me want to love and feel loved by him. I look at a cat's adorable face and I want to hug him, kiss him and take care of him. I look at a man and...

I feel nothing; he doesn't trigger my caregiving instinct and he doesn't bring as much affection into my life as a cat can.

I'm sure I'm a straight woman; the thought of kissing another woman disgusts me, but I fantasise about imaginary men and I find men's bodies attractive.

I'm starting to believe I have such a deep need for adorableness and pureness only a cat can emotionally make me happy. A man isn't as adorable and pure as a cat.

I'm genuinely suffering.

Men think I hate them, and I laugh when they think I hate them; they don't understand that I don't and they don't understand I actively wish I liked them, I even try to force myself to like them.

Hating men doesn't make my life better, so why would I?

If you want to understand how I feel, imagine living on an alternative Earth where women are simply designed in a way that makes you sad; imagine you live on an alternative Earth where every woman is a monster inside and out, you look out of the window and realise the beautiful woman inside and out you're thinking of doesn't even exist and is a ghost.

Looks aren't the reason why I'm unhappy with men, I made you imagine a different Earth where every woman is ugly inside and out just to make you feel the desolation I feel.

I know it's possible that someone out there can make me happy, but he's so rare that knowing he exists doesn't make me feel better; he's too difficult to find, and if our relationship goes wrong, I'll have to go through a thousand messages again just to have another possibility. At that point it's so exhausting I'm unhappy anyway.

What's funny is that some (many) men are angry at me, they say: ''Gurl, you're attractive and life is on easy mode for you.'' They're clueless.
