Can cuddling and sleeping together deepen a man’s feelings without sex?

A friend and I really like each other, and we’ve spent the last two nights sleeping together. Nothing sexual has happened, but we cuddle all night, he holds me close and touches me affectionately. I’ve heard that sleeping next to someone can sometimes feel even more intimate than sex. And honestly, ever since we started sleeping together, I feel like I’m developing even stronger feelings for him.

For me as a woman, this kind of intimacy makes me feel more emotionally attached and develop deeper feelings for him. But does it work the same way for men? Can cuddling and sleeping together make a man develop stronger feelings too, even without sex?

This is a loaded question. It would be like me asking you, "do you get deeper feelings from a man who does all these things you just said, except he talks to ther women". Because unless a guy knows for a fact you're abstaining from sex the assumption is you're having it with someone. And unless the guy just likes to cuddle, sex would be assumed at some point. Or as the old saying goes. "If you've been with her for more than a month, congratulations, she's having sex. Just not with you".
