A lot of people who are bitter because they don't have sex, can get a partner, get rejected... I find that it's usually themselves, or at least to a degree. They usually lack incredibly in the confidence area and don't take the time to build on it or they expect it to happen overnight. Or that it isn't their fault they don't have any, like it's something you're just born with, no, you develop it. They're entitled, no one HAS to say 'yes' to you. They don't give a reason, other than being nice, being nice doesn't mean that someone should want you. They let their bitterness get in the way of chances that someone MIGHT say yes, if you have an attitude that no one is gonna like you, that effects your results. They blame it on someone being shallow and just liking douchebags/badboys/sluts/bitches/etc. Like, don't people realize that a lot of these go back to self worth? Are some people actually self centered and shallow? Yes, a lot of people are assholes and don't give other's a chance, that's true. But if you blame people for not dating you cause "you're ugly" that goes back to how you view yourself.

self worth is not equal to entitlement. One is knowing your value, the other is THINKING you deserve something for simply existing. (I swear to God, if one of y'all pulls out a literal definition.)

Also, it's okay to feel bad about your love life, but being bitter is a whole 'nother thing.
This is men and women with this mindset. If you get pissy, well, if the shoe fits.

I don’t understand what the definition of preference stands for when it comes to dating. I’ve seen it portrayed two ways and would like to know which way is most applied to the majority.

For example, here are two scenarios. For the ladies just switch it up to guys. Pick which one is your definition of preference:

scenario A- I like the purple girl more, but if she weren’t here or the green or blue girl had qualities I liked, I’d date them.

Scenario B- I like purple girls, and if this particular purple girl doesn’t have what I like I’ll find another purple girl. I take no interest in blue girls.

Since we have long established I am not a human with a normal human brain capable of understanding societal norms and conflicts, it’s safe to say I don’t understand what the definition of preference stands for when it comes to dating. I’ve seen it portrayed two ways and would like to know which way is most applied to the majority.

For example, here are two scenarios. I’m going to use hair colour. Pick which one is your definition of preference:

scenario A- I like the redhead more, but if she weren’t here or the blonde or brunette had qualities I liked, I’d date them.

Scenario B- I like redheads, and if this particular redhead doesn’t have what I like I’ll find another redhead. I take no interest in blondes.
