I've grown tired of her excuses she went to college and completed her masters to be a counselor 15yrs ago. Never took her state exam nor completed her hours and now in 150k student loan debt. Her husband is sick and she isn't working. He worked hard to manage the home while she went to school full time. She keeps eating and is 400lbs now. I heard from her once after say the following to her:




Me: "Aunt, I love you so I say this with love... You gotta get up. You keep procrastinating and have been doing this for years now. If you keep on this path it's going to be another 12 years of life passing you by without you accomplishing anything. I sent you things on how to search for a house, info on how to be uncle's caregiver, info on furthering your career and you just sit on it it. How long are you going to keep doing this to yourself?"

I own my condo, it can go on forbearance for up to 1 year. My car is paid off so I have insurance only, I was able to find cheaper auto and condo insurance. That way, my mortgage will be lower once it’s time to pay it again. Student loans on forbearance, HOA fees are being reduced to $100 per month until I can work again. I’m looking at about $400-$500 per month, including gas, dining out, home warranty etc. I was eligible for food stamps & electric assistance. I started off with around $5700 in my savings when I quit my last job & have around $4800 in my account atm. I have about 2k in credit card debt but try to make a little over the minimum monthly payment.
