For some reason, people here think George Soros, Planned Parenthood and Biden are the enemies of the state. Not CEO’s on wall street actually stealing our tax dollars.

Many say they want college to be free, which to me would be terrible. It would either have to make the schools state run to keep prices down or it would make the current problem of high costs right now worse.

Supply and demand issues when suddenly everyone can attend.

The idea I heard a few years back though, could be that there is a federal income tax (USA idea) similar to the FICA for social security. Those that want free education agree to pay this tax the rest of their lives. Those that do not, never have to. It is a opt in tax, those that opt in get to attend college free.

We have the technology and means to track what people currently owe by various deductions and others, seems like this could be a win win situation. If you support it, you can support it with your tax dollars the rest of your life. If you do not support it, you never have to but you can never use it.

In order to work, the tax rate would need to be adjusted as needed to ensure the college education fund always has money and it can never go in the red or use general funds.

In theory this method could be used for any type of social program, those that support it can pay for it, those that don't support it, do not have the extra tax but cannot use it.

If a program is popular enough wouldn't most people sign up for it?

Nothing if ever free someone has to pay for it.

Why not those who want it and used it?

Would you support free college education if it meant an extra tax on you for the rest of your life to pay for others after you got your degree and started working?

Now Joan Mitchell is pulling her music from Spotify.. Neil Young already pulled his music over Joe Rogan interviewing a Doctor.

1) Let me say I am not a big fan of Joe Rogan
2) He has a right to interview anyone he wants , its America
3) Spotify signed him to have his show
4) He brings in more money than Mitchell and Young together.
6) No one listens to Neil Young or Mitchell music anymore
7) Only hit Mitchell had was Taxi Cab and only song worth anything by Young was Free World , which Young is really against not allowing free speech

The problem is most Corporations are run by liberals who don't care if they make a profit or not because they would rather be in bed with Federal Gov;t and have Gov't pay them with tax dollars. So Corporations support CCP violating people's God given rights in China , One said the abuse doesn't effect him so he didn't care.

Maybe Spotify should go music less and just have talk shows like Joe Rogan and add Ted Nugent to the roster? They would make more money than communist singers. Also , I love these spoiled , rich, communist actors and Musicians that only have success and money because they are Americans crying all the time. .

He probably paid about several billion dollars in taxes this year due to the capital gains tax he pays when he sells his stock, the source of his wealth. The federal government collects about 1/3 of his the money he earns when he sells his stock.
