Using the above ingredients I can create a quick meal my grandmother taught me how to make & it is a wonderful gnocchi dish & it’s under $30.00.
That's £20 in real money so here it goes.
£7 fish & chips with a carton of curry from the chippy.
£3 large tub of ice cream
£8 bottle of wine
Crisps or nuts with the change.
Dinner sorted.
For $30 I can make pretty much what ever I want. A nice BBQ steak & all the trimmings would go great.
Is this supposed to be a challange? Are food prices in the US so high?
Cause here in germany, with 30€ i could make any meal for at least 2 people.

$30 USD? No problem! Chicken and rice, green beans, a tossed green salad, and a cake for dessert. I'll pocket the remaining $10 USD.
"Only"? Where are you buying food, the Lexus dealership?
Baked mac n cheese, chicken, & broccoli.
Idr the exact prices, but it's definitely doable.
I'll change it to local currency - that will be quite a feast :)
It's about 10 or more times to cook up something ''regular''.
30 dollars! Shit, I'll upgrade to a prime T-bone with corn on the cob, both grilled outside with a giant baked potato microwaved (That's right 2-3-2 minute intervals) Total price: under 25 bucks, might tip the scales with a porterhouse..
I would tend to think shrimp por boy
Hamburgers and fries
A hamburger 🍔
