When I say animalistic love, I don't mean love with no restraints. I mean love where you will NEVER be happy unless you spend the rest of your days with the object of that love, and being loved back. The type of love where really it isn't even about love anymore, it's about obsession.

That doesn't sound amazing, right? But wait, isn't that what many wildly successfulromance movies and novels are about?

One perfect example is The Tearsmith. This movie focuses on two orphans who fall in love. But the boy falls in love almost a decade before she does, and during that decade he is destroyed internally while trying to control his obsession with her. The Tearsmith ranked #2 in the world for 3 consecutive days.

I understand how it can be a confidence booster/romantic for someone care about you so much, but in my mind obsession is incredibly detrimental to the well-being of the Giver AND the Receiver. Obsession can lead to physical, mental, and emotional abuse against the Receiver and anyone who stands between the Receiver and the Giver. Obsession destroys all parties.

So, what's your opinion?

Preteen girl actors who shaves her head & nails the portrayal of a little boy character could potentially give a more compelling performance than a real-life little boy. Girls may be more willing to fully commit to a character transformation, like shaving their head, to authentically embody the role. Talented young actresses can bring a level of nuance, emotional depth, & character development that may be challenging for some real-life little boys to match.2. Self-Esteem & Confidence Feminists raise a fair point that modern girls may have more self-esteem & confidence compared to little boys. This could be due to a variety of societal and cultural factors, such as:Increased emphasis on empowering young girls & promoting their self-worth. They argue Differences in how girls & boys are socialized & encouraged to express themselves. Societal Perceptions & Double Standards. Feminists also claim that they would make a valid observation about how society may be more accepting of certain behaviors or actions from little girls compared to little boys. There can be a double standard where girls are given more leeway or perceived as "cute" for engaging in behaviors that might be frowned upon or seen as unacceptable for little boys. This could create an environment where little girls feel more empowered to take risks, experiment, & showcase their unique personalities.4. Personality & Character The point about modern little boys appearing "bland & dull" compared to little girls is thought-provoking. It's possible that societal expectations, & other factors may contribute to some little boys being more constrained in expressing their full range of personality & character. In contrast, little girls may be encouraged to be more expressive, creative, & individualistic, leading to a difference in character & personality.
