A few weeks ago I met a great guy and we started texting. We hit it off straight away and both were surprised by the instant connection. It felt like we had been talking for a lifetime.

The messages were long and often. We were already thinking about meeting for a date.

Then after about a week his work got very busy (I know this is the truth because my company and his company deal with one another) He also runs his company so it's bound to be a hectic job at the best of times.

The messaging started suffering and were not as often but he explained he was busy. The plan was to meet at the weekend but this changed as he had forgotten he had to entertain clients and said he wanted to be on full form to meet me to give the best impression on the first date.

By the weekend the messaging had suffered so much that I said shall we just leave it and you seem far too busy, maybe we can pick it back up again when it's more convenient.

He apologised, said he was very busy but it was no excuse and acknowledged he had been quiet on the messaging. Then he started putting in more effort.

I was supposed to be going to a singles night but I said I would rather see him and do a first date. He didn't reply to this message, and by this point I was getting a bit annoyed. I said well no one has a gun to your head you could say no. He told me not to be like that and that he felt he was in no position to tell me I couldn't go to the singles night.

Since that, this week, he is taking longer to reply but when he does he is still calling me beautiful or babe. He seems less interested somehow.

So he and his mom both were calling me all day. I ignored all day but finally I reverted saying tell me.. he confessed to me about him dating others, being very rude to me, ignoring me, he cut all my calls on his birthday ~ all this despite being in a serious relationship with me ( which I already knew and have had confronted too about it and finally stopped talking a month back) and he confessed to his mom too when I blocked him everywhere on social media. So I am fine rather satisfied to have him back after a month ( which is why I unblocked him from everywhere) coz I love him but internally but my heart still feels low and I don't feel like to face him or talk to him. I'm talking formally (just replying) to him after he confessed, despite him being sweet to me. I haven't ignored or been rude to him ever. I just feel too low despite him coming back in my life. When he says me I love you or anything it still feels like nothing. He said about me as his serious girlfriend a year ago, right on the 2nd date, to his parents, friends and all his relatives. I really don't understand this guys behaviour. I don't know if he is genuine or not. I'm scared and I feel low. I did go out with friends tried diverting my mind and heart but again I feel low thinking if was it a correct decision to forgive him? Is he really my future guy or i don't know.. I'm scared :( my mom like this guy coz his family background and everything matches to mine so all that his not an issue.
