A month or so back I jokingly made a silly bet with a female friend which I lost. The condition was if I lost I would wear a french maid costume and serve drinks next time she had her friends over. If she lost we said she would have had to do the same dressed as a hooters girl and when I had mates round but I would never of held her to it.

But now she wants to hold me to it. She's actually bought the dress and some shoes with high heels and she's expecting me to be at a party she's throwing for her girls next weekend. It was only supposed to be a joke but I don't want everyone to see me go back on a bet but I don't want them all to think I'm gay either.

Should I go through with it or not or is there another way?

I have more girl friends than guy friends (I'm not gay though) and one of the girls I'm closest to is getting married. I'm the only guy in our social group so she's asked me to go to her bachelorette weekend as well as the rest of the girls. I feel a bit odd being the only guy invited but it's all girls I often hang out with and we're all cool with each other. She's made it very clear she genuinely wants me to go and didn't just invite me to be nice.

They're all dressing up as nurses and she asked me to let them make me wear a very short 'sexy nurse' dress and high heels, and let them put makeup on me and wax my legs. I'm not keen on that idea and she said she won't mind if I get a mens' outfit, but she said she'd love it if I'd wear the women's version of the costume.

I feel a bit awkward about it but I've known her for many years and I want to be a part of it with her and do everything to make her special time as fun as possible. What should I do?

At a costume party I went as Clark kent and for it I wore fake glasses. All of my freinds seemed to love the costume. However my freinds who wear glasses were wearing contacts that night. So I joked that here I'm finally wearing glasses and you few arn't. They did not seem to like that joke at all. However my other nonglasses wearing freinds loved that remark. Are glasses something that is a really touchy subject or did they just not like me joining in with them on that? Cause I'm one of a few in a small social circle inside a larger one who does not wear glasses.
What are your thoughts on it.
