Search Results: work hard for our money

We say the boomers had it so great and fantastic at our expense and screwed us over, yet how many young people would actually be willing to put their money where their mouth is and switch lives to be born in the amazing 1940's - 1960's and live the life of a boomers instead, all pros and cons included?

I often here a lot of people in my younger generation complaining about how great baby boomers had it, and how screwed over the younger generation is today (mostly financially). Boomers, your parents gave you great benefits to get ahead when you were young. When it was your turn in power you basically did the exact opposite and fucked everyone over hard by reducing all of our wages, raising rent prices to ridiculous amounts even though most of you don't even need the money, and eliminating virtually all health benefits and work-life balance regulations for the younger generations.

But on the flip side, what our younger generation (1990-present) often fails to mention or acknowledge, is that it was also the boomers who brought all kinds of great things into the world, made cars accessible and cheap for everyone to own if they like, invented in the modern internet and the entire computer industry, and provided most of us with the best quality childhood upbringings ever known to man kind of any generation, ever. So for all of the hard work the boomers put in during their careers to accomplish those insane feets, on behalf of my younger generation, thank you.

My younger generation is also not without flaws of its own too. We still mostly drive oil powered cars and consume products wrapped in plastic and trash like nobodies business and in this day in age we should all know better by now. Our future kids with rightfully so criticize us for that. And thus the cycle continues.

My final thought is that I would never want to be born in any other age than the present, all pros and all cons included.
