Search Results: comparing yourself

I know that im insanely in love with a girl that looks kind of like the opposite of me. I have a broad, short face while she got a long, sharp face. It feels a bit weird comparing myself to her since we both look nothing alike. So do you find men that looks different from you can be somehow more attractive than a person that looks like you?

Talking to someone had me realize that, compared to me, they're loaded! I grew up in a household making under 15k so 35k a year seemed rich to me. Not worrying about being able to pay your bills each month or just saying f' it I don't wanna cook tonight is "rich"
What do you guys think? When would you start calling yourself wealthy?

I'm turning 21 soon, I'm living with my parents, currently unemployed, still working on my driver's licence.
Sometimes I feel depressed about this and feel like a pos.
I was brought up the wrong way in life. Had no good role model, bullied as a child, grew up in a poor family, lived with mental issues all my life.
I was told not to compare myself to ithers but I tend to brcause it gives me hope. When my btother was my age he was in prison and when my sister was my age she was on drugs, and both had children at 17. Neither had a driver's license at 21 either. My siblings are just a few that I tend to do this with.
I do this to remind myself that I could be worse off and to be greatful for what I do have and not be depressed on what I don't have.
I may not be in the best position in life but at least I have no children, $0 in debt (didn't go to college), no serious addictions (which runs in my family), a mother who's still willing to support me, no criminal record, etc.
I'm taking steps to improve my life, and positive reinforcement is one of them.

P. S. I don't say anythibg to anyone's faces, this is just what I think in my own head.
