(I NEED OPINIONS) I've been friends with Francis* sincehigh school. We met during prom. After prom, wed send messages back & fourth & we would even talk on the phone till we fell asleep. When I went to college, we stopped talking. I met a friend that lives near Francis’ house. we went to his house then the three of us started hanging out together. I knew at this point that my crush for him never went away so one night, while talking to him I finally had the courage to tell him how I actually feel. He just teased so I decided to never bring up the idea again. Nothing changed, were still doing the same stuff. We even went out to watch a movie with his fam. This was our 1st PDA. I placed my head on his shoulders &he was cool about it. Now I have a serious relationship for almost 3 years. Francis and I stopped talking. last Oct 2, I greeted him a happy birthday&we started talking again. I went to his house and we talked & played ps4. He placed his head on my lap-vice versa. it was getting late, he asked if I wanted to sleep at his place that night & I said yes. He gave me his clothes and we shared the same bed. He also gave me a beer but nothing happened. Come Friday, I went to his house again. We did the same thing &I placed my head on his lap. He even cooked for me. I stayed for the night and we watched movies. We were laying down while my head is on his arms. But he said we shouldn’t be doing it because I have a boyfriend. Then when my back is turned towards him he would put his arm around me and whisper what’s wrong. While I’m watching horror movie, he said he’d sleep but whenever there’s a scary part he’d tell me to not look. He also grabbed my hand because I was too scared. Morning comes we talked about my boyfriend. He said that if I’m unhappy, I should break up and he also told me “So you like me, what’s wrong with that.” While I’m crying because I like him and not my boyfriend.

Movies that show African Americans in segregation times. My mom doesn't know too much about BLM or how much SOME NOT ALL African Americans talk crap nonsense about white privilege.

I merely said those movies are okay but I don't like watching them. She responded with, "We need to remember those times and not forget them."

I love my mom, but I disagree, I remember because of MLK Jr. Day. I get we need to remember the struggles, but we don't need those movies. Why? Because it stirs up negative emotions towards Caucasians. As I was watching the movies I felt anger and hatred begin to stir and I didn't not like that at all. We are supposedly trying to get rid of racism as a society, but when it comes to "white privilege" no one ever corrects the racists that hate Caucasians. Why? Because of PC or because of Caucasians that treated African Americans wrong IN THE PAST.

Look, people from now cannot complain about racism just because you're not getting special treatment and you feel entitled. Your ancestors suffered to have equality, not to have you rub the past into the face of innocent Caucasians.

If people keep saying crap, like, "Oh we dont have enough opportunities, unlike whites. Blah blah blah." You are ignoring the wonderful achievements of people like Jackie Robinson, MLK Jr. Etc. They had it horrible, unlike you! So come on, people! Grow up!

I don't know ignore my rant, I guess. I just get really bothered by it. And before anyone tries to play the white privilege card on me, I'm Hispanic.

But what are your thoughts? Should we keep making more movies like those? Or make movies that have positive messages geared toward everyone?
