Search Results: being too mature in a relationship

I have some major decisions to make that will affect my life long term. I just wanted to get them outta the way while I'm young:

I need to figure out when to start dating.

I won't reveal my actual age, but i will tell you I'm a lower classman in High School. I'm faced with two options: Start dating while I'm in High School, or wait until i go off to University.

Now I'll tell you why I'm having a tough time deciding. I have different morals when it comes to relationships than most people. I take dating very seriously, and i don't want anything casual. Also, i want my lifelong partner to be a virgin like myself. Partially due to jealousy and insecurity i must admit, but also due to my core values.

Being in High School, it shouldn't be hard for me to find a virgin girlfriend. But i feel that others my age are still too immature for a serious relationship. There is a lot of drama, a lot of mind games, and a lot of unfaithfulness and blurred lines. I'm hesitant to get involved with all of that. Plus, it will complicate things even further if my SO and i go off to different colleges.

If i wait until university, the girls my age will be much more mature and capable of serious relationships (especially the ones smart enough to make it into the same university as me). However, the downside is that I'm afraid that it will be near impossible to find a virgin partner at that point. And Im not sure its something i am willing to sacrifice.

So my question is: How hard will it be to find a virgin partner in university? Will they have all lost it by then?

If it will, in fact, be easier for me to find a virgin than i have been told, then i will wait until university without hesitation. But if not, then I'm afraid i may have to try my luck now before its too late...
