My question is me and this girl haven't talked in almost 2 weeks. We are suppose to be friends. Do I keep giving her space or do you all like when the other speaks up and ask what's going on? The thing is we started as friends, i ask to be friends. Then we kinda started dating then she later beg me to be friends saying saying she wasn't ready. Since then I seen her once but the talking was short. Now it's just been silent she use to almost call me every day.

Being an introvert, I love my own space but I’ve realised that the reason I’ve always been persistent with you (although I’ve been giving you space recently) is because i feel insecure about our friendship and that’s because I haven’t told you that I like you as more than a friend. I have done for months but I i didn’t tell you before because i was afraid of losing you as a friend and I’d much rather have you as a friend than lose you completely. I’m telling you now as I thought my insecurity would just lead to you feeling even more bombarded & that wouldn’t be healthy. I’ve also realised that friendship needs to be based on honesty. I think as long as you know and I have a response from you, I’ll be able to give you space when necessary, whatever your response is as it will be a massive burden lifted off my shoulders. At the very least, I hope we can remain good friends - you really are a great friend. I will respect whatever your response Is. Take as much time as you need to respond, I won’t follow this up until you reply.
