I have a neighbour who I know is obviaouky physically attracted to me but I’m not sure if he’s developed feelings for me.

He’s gone out of his way to hang around me, would lean really close when talking to me, and just change his demeanor around me (speaks to me gently/softly), and would sometimes smile really wide when he sees me/just freeze up. Just recently, I’ve ran into a tenancy contract situation where I might not be able to extend my lease - he was in a similar situation and he’s mentioned that we should both move in together, was smiling to himself when he said it. I took it as him joking but he said it again in front of others and asked me to imagine life in a long stay hotel suite where we get to host parties etc. had a matter of fact look about is that seemed rather serious. His situation was resolved but mine’s still up in the air. Just yesterday, he mentioned if I’m out of options, I should just move in with him (half joking / half serious). Would guys joke about moving in multiple times or is he trying to tell me he’s into me /testing the waters?

When I ask this question, I hope I don’t come across as a total asshole

My parents, my gamer friend and the last guy I “dated” have all had success with dating apps. My parents are older and heavier than me, my dad tends to attract good looking women. My mom met her long term partner on a dating app and says that if she was single, she probably wouldn’t have an issue using them. Quote, she says it’s because she isn’t worried with making the first move to approach guys. I told her that I did message first here and there but still didn’t help the situation.

My gamer friend is older than me but says that he thinks a lot of people on dating apps are looking for something long term. I don’t find him good looking but he is friendly and confident (maybe a bit on the conceited side). My “ex” is not attractive but he has a good sense of humor and is friendly too.

I’m reserved but I don’t think that makes a difference, a lot of quiet people have found their match. I know I’m not beautiful but I know I’m better looking than all the people I just mentioned and still fail with finding the right one. What’s the issue here?

Why are all the guys I’m attracted to only want sex or just ghost? The less attractive guys are always interested and seem better at conversation. The guys that are decent with conversation and looks wise are always short, only an an inch taller than me. I’m not that tall, I don’t get why the cuter and taller guys can’t make a move, without being total dicks. Am I too picky or just bad luck?
