Pretty stupid question to ask, right? Everyone "hates" drama... but recently I actually don't care about my friend's gossip. I'm at an age where everyone is dramatic, but I'm getting sick of everyone constantly complaining about their life, yet they aren't willing to take any initiative to change it.

I will admit, I used to be that way but now I see how dumb I was acting. This summer break alone I have had major breakthroughs in self improvement than I have had in years.

I want to get far away from this toxic crowd, but it seems like every new friend I make or anyone my age has so much drama in their lives and when I detach myself from those people, they view me as an outcast and/or antisocial. I know in the future none of this will matter, but I'm just so fed up with it.

I just want to be friends with somebody who isn't two faced and accepts their flaws, and if they can change it for the better they try. Even if they don't succeed I won't judge them because unlike most of the people around me... they tried.

Anyways sorry about that venting session.

I am very much an advocate of free speech. "I may not agree with what you say but i will defend your right to say it... unless you're a pompous prick about it" But this era of political correctness has everyone pissing themselves to delve into deeper topics leaving nothing but mindless small talk which is not only harmful but boring.

In fact in a Washington post article a couple months back, they claimed that Forty percent of Americans under age 35 tell pollsters they think the First Amendment is dangerous because you might use your freedom to say something that hurts somebody else’s feelings. 40%! I don't care where you stand, that's disturbing man!

Also this #metoo thing is getting out of hand. In fact it's making me worried about doing anything beyond keeping women at arms length, cause i don't know what I'm gonna get. Hell Recently Chris Hardwick just got #metooed after a recent breakup right? and the only reason his career isn't just over instantly is because one of his female coworkers and 3 of his ex's literally came to his rescue.

Not to mention that Ironically enough, republicans were the ones championing equal rights for minorities and women, abolishing slavery and giving everyone the right to vote, while democrats were the ones championing slavery, treating black people as property, a democrat was the one who assassinated Lincoln, Created the KKK, did everything they could to block the civil rights act of 1964. And when all that failed Lyndon Johnson basically said. "I'll have them n****rs voting democrat for 200 years" basically saying. If we can't keep them down, we might as well have them voting for us.

And now we got ourselves a culture where everyone is trying to play the victim, it's always someone else's fault, and anyone who is a minority is disadvantaged, held down and are just too incompetent to do anything themselves.

And keep in mind all of this is coming from a black man... I cannot in good conscience stay a democrat knowing this.

When it comes to long-term dating, I feel like I'm a little picky. Not so much really, except that what I don't like, almost everyone does.

1) I prefer a non-drinker. Occasional social drinking doesn't bother me that much. That alone takes away most of the population of dating.
2) I don't like dating smokers. I don't like the smell, and I don't like the fact that it's addictive.
3) I will not date a drug user. And yes that includes marijuana. If its medicinal, do it outside of the house.
4) I do not like tattoos. They look trashy, and I just plain don't like them. If the person I'm dating long-term has them, they need to be small, at somewhere hidden where nobody can see. (Unfortunately, this one is a huge Trend right now, so the chances of me finding somebody without one at all are Slim.)
