In 2008 when Obama was elected, I predicted that by the next presidential election in 2012 the American people would be so horrifyingly repulsed by the liberal progressive socialism he tried to shove down their throats that there would be a mass uprising against it to reject it so completely that it would be banished from this country forever.

I was wrong.

It took one more election cycle, and 4 more years of Obama and his liberal progressive agenda before that happened.

But now it happened. As predicted Americans in the presidential election of 2016 rejected liberal progressive socialism as so horrific, so anti-American and so inimical to everything this country stands for, that they not only rejected the presidential candidate -- Hillary Clinton -- who ran on a platform of giving the country more of it -- but they made sure that the candidate who ran against it -- Donald Trump -- got a clean sweep and complete control of ALL THREE BRANCHES of the federal government so that he can now quickly and completely erase every last trace of the punitive damage that has already been done to the country from Obama's implementation of this evil ideology. It wasn't just a win, it was a shutout: an epic repudiation of Obama and Clinton and their liberal progressive agenda.

On a personal level, I couldn't possibly feel any more vindicated than this. I may have been off by an election cycle, but in the end it happened precisely as I predicted. The bitter taste of liberal progressive socialism was forced on the American people, they decided they want no part of it, and they killed it... forever. Socialism may have ruined Europe, a place that never had the spirit of independence, self-reliance and liberty that America was founded on, but when it came to America it met with the brutal and untimely end it deserves. And it's never coming back.

The 8 year long national nightmare of Obama's liberal progressive socialist assault is over. And so is the war that defeated it. AMERICA won.
