I am oftentimes hear people say Second largest wrestling promotions like WCW, TNA, AEW sign WWE-JECTS or "Has-beens" but I disagree.
The current second largest wrestling promotion at the moment is AEW (until another company rise to take the second largest wrestling promotion spot)
But at this moment in time. AEW is the only second largest wrestling promotion. And some people say "It feels like WCW or they're making the same mistake TNA made by signing ex WWE talents"

but what if they didn'tsign WWE-JECTS
1.) It will take years to build up new fresh talent. Because of Lack of star power.

2. ) If they didn't have star power they don't have fans or a fanbase.

3.) If they don't have a fanbase they don't have ratings because of Lack of star power.4.) TV DEALS come from having a strong fanbase which would religate AEW to the independent wrestling circuit..

now let's look at the Pros if signing ex WWE talents
1.) The Product has Star power2. ) Big established wrestlers can push new wrestlers hence why Darby Allen orange Cassidy Jungle boy and MJF 3. ) Draws in a fanbase 4.) Gets the Young Guys TV READYIT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT young wrestlers need to be groomed to be TV READY hence shows like DARK and Dark Elevation exist.
