I’m having a girlfriend for the first time at 32, she’s 42. Due to the fact that she’s my first girlfriend I’m very immature and naive. I think like a 12 year old in terms of romance. I don't know if the good outweighs the bad. So in this question I’m gonna share with you the pro and cons.

Pros
1. Food: always cook for me on her days off. Even took the time to learn my favourite recipes.

2. Budgeting: She’s very smart with her money. We both have over 50k saved up with no debt. We have it planned to buy a house together and pay a low interest rate.

3. Open-minded: I can talker her about almost anything and she’s a good listener.

4. Very sharing: She let me borrow her car for 3 weeks when mine got totalled. Every time she gets bonus pay she’s willing to spend on me.

Cons

1. Has temper: Every time she has to explain something to me a second time she screams me. We end up fighting and not talking for days.

2. Conceited: She believes she so hot that every man in the world wants her. Her exact words “I have a big ass and D cup breasts. Every guy wants me”. Women should be confident but this is ridiculous.

3. Verbal/Emotional abuse: She tells me that I’ve never had a girlfriend because I’m socially awkward & weird. And how I’ll never find anyone better than her. And that the only reason she agreed to date me is because I’m handsome with muscles. And if I stop working out she’ll replace me.

4. Shallow: She refuses to date guys her age and only wants younger men. Nothing wrong with dating younger, but refusing to date your own age is dumb.

5. Male friends: She only has 4 female friends, the rest are guys. She even admitted a couple of them want her. She has a male bestie Alex who she texts almost every day. Whenever Alex has a girlfriend he barely texts her and she gets mad. She agreed not to hang out with guy after I told I’m uncomfortable, she said I’m “just being jealous”.

Is this how a relationship is supposed to be? please give me the best advice with your comments.

I’ve been dating my girlfriend Lucy for a year. Lucy has a lot of good values. She’s smart with her money and has no debt. We’re thinking about getting married in the new year. I’m 33 and she’s 43, so there’s no time waste. But 90% of her friends are male, so only has 3 female friends. Which is kind of strange to me. She’s not a tomboy, these dudes aren’t gay, so why would she be so close to other men? She has a guy friend Alex that she texts a lot. Every time Alex has a girlfriend she doesn’t like his relationship with Lucy. Also, Alex doesn’t text Lucy as often when he’s dating, and Lucy gets pissed that he’s neglected. I wrote about this in another question.

We’ve had arguments about her male friends and she told me that I’m “too jealous”, and that she’ll stop hanging around men for our relationship. She showed me her texts to prove there’s nothing going on with the guys, but I’m still uncomfortable.

On the flip side she hates that my best friend is a 69 year old woman whom I FaceTime once awhile. So how can I accept her guy friends and she doesn’t like me being friends with an elderly woman? She also got mad at me for going a girls apartment with a crowd.

There are two guys I know who are pretty good friends. The question is end up the most desirable and successful in life? So who is going to be doing better in 25 years if we can check on them again. I will describe them to you and you decide who will fare better in life. And make your choice and explain your belief.

Guy 1:
Guy 1 Is 25 years old and is recent college graduate. He met guy 2 while working a blue collar job to sustain himself and worked through college and graduated college with no debt, owns his own car lives in his own apartment. He now works at a decent tech company. He is a hard working person, learns quickly and moves with purpose and vision. He's a thin, fit guy who is very dedicated to fitness and loves to go to the gym. He's very young looking for his age, couldn't grow facial hair on a bet. He likes to read and likes to learn new things. He's got lots of interests and he's strong and smart. He has dated, and had a couple of relationships, moderate dating and he can fairly easily get a date, in fact women ask him out some times.

Guy 2:
Guy 2 is 24. He still works at the blue collar job, but he's trying to get a better job in the industry and he's about to get it. He, however, has not been to college in fact he did not even graduate high school. He dropped out because he got his girlfriend pregnant at 16 had had a baby with her. He has been already married and divorced. He lives paycheck to paycheck, barely sustaining himself in the trailer that he rents with his child. Though not educated guy 2 is good with numbers and is just good at math generally. He too, is a hard working guy and he tries to do the right things, but he has a child and it's harder. He's a good looking thin guy that doesn't care for the gym he gets enough exercise at work, but he's fairly confident. He doesn't date much, but he has had a fair share of brief hookups.
