Okay so I’m still new to the world of Tinder/Texting and all the rest. I’m a picky swiper and I don’t just chat to loads of people. About two weeks ago I started talking to a guy. Really funny, really hot. For the first few days we chatted non-stop like from 9am till 2am. He wanted to do something like on day two and seemed quite keen. I was busy so couldn’t. We carried on talking and I was going to a wedding up north that weekend. We chatted on the phone over the weekend, the texts did slow down a bit but there was still loads of good banter, jokes etc. I suggested doing something on Monday. All Sunday I didn’t hear anything apart from one text in response to a pic. Monday nothing. Tuesday he got in touch and we talked normally all day and he asked if he could see me that night. I said I was busy but free the next day. He said he probably couldn’t as he was working. We talked all that night and all Wednesday but he couldn’t come round he said. Thursday the conversation was shorter and less so I didn’t really reply or initiated. Friday he text I was out so a bit tipsy we talked on the phone that night but Lord only knows about what. Saturday I just text to say I felt sick and he just replied saying Haha. Sunday was carnival – again I was tipsy. I stupidly text drunk – I asked if he wanted to come round, he said no he was out early the next day (He was taking part in carnival the next day). I send a few more texts – he replied but said he could tell I was drunk and enjoy my night he was going to sleep. Wait it gets worse! Monday I thought I saw him at carnival so text. No reply. THEN I text again, I’d lost my mates and was asking where he was. So I KNOW drunk texting is wrong and stupid and my male friends say he probably thinks I’m either a drunk, psycho or a bunny boiler! But here’s the question, due to absolute lack of decent men I’ve come across this week I don’t want to give up on this one. It’s Friday and I haven’t messaged and neither has he. Is this one gone forever? Should I message a cheeky apology or will that look weirder after nearly a week? Should I just write it off and never take my phone out again! Sorry I’m new to all this and learning lessons the hard way. Please Help! No matter how brutal the advice!

okay, im going to try to make a very long story as short as i can. So here's the deal, i recently started talking with this guy which i quickly developed feelings for. when i asked him if he wanted to meet up sometime in the future (we learned to know eachother online.) he said he would love to but he was worried about the age difference inbetween us. (his turning 29 this year and im turning 21.) and he also stated that he knew i though the age diffrence inbetween us was to big. (this was something i though was very weird. he directly assumed i though the age diffrence was a problem. But i dont think it is. But i never actually pointed this out to him. i just really let him think what he wanted to think.) when he said and did that, i lost all intrest in him. i still consider him as a friend and i would still love to meet up with him in the future and hang out with him. But after this dicussion, he's non stop texted me, wishes me good night ever evening, wishes me good morning ever morning, compliments me, sends winks, flirts, tells me cheesy jokes. so, here's the deal, does this guy like me? and if he does, why would he say something like that then flirt with me like a mad man? i though the age diffrence botherd him? also, i jokingly sent him a picture of my favourite actor (michael fassbender) and told him jokingly that he was my fiance. (its an inside joke inbetween us the fiance thing. he actually started the joke and i really just continued with it) and he became very bitter. did he get jealous?

I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for the past 6 months now and the first 5 were amazing. We dated before previously but broke up because I moved away. We both work at the same place which is how we met the first time. He has always been extremely affectionate and open to me about his feelings.

The past month, our work environment has been incredibly stressful for both my boyfriend and I due to summer hours and short staffing. My boyfriend has also recently taken on additional responsibility at his job. Since this has started my boyfriend has become very distant and seems to have put our relationship to the side. We used to talk, joke, text and hang out frequently however our communication has become almost non-existent and we haven't had time to have a proper date in a month. I have attempted to communicate my feelings to him a few times and he admitted that he is stressed but has no made attempts to make time for our relationship. He simply told me that he has been keeping his distance as to not stress me out or worry me. When do see him I work he does make an effort to speak to me a bit or give me a quick hug and kiss but that has been the extent of our relationship.

I have tried to be as supportive as I can by giving him his space and not being too clingy. However, I don't now how much longer I can function in a relationship like this where I barely am able to see or speak to my boyfriend. I have been stressed as well but I have started to keep my feelings to myself as to not be a burden on him. Should I continue to give him space and wait for him to come around or should I demand that we start working on our relationship and stop letting work control our lives? Is this typical behavior for men to push away their loved ones in times of stress? Sorry for the long post and if you have taken the time to read this and respond it is greatly appreciated.
