I’ve been with my girlfriend Becky for a long time. I think I love her and I really enjoy spending time with her. However, she’s recently shared her ugly past with me. When she was in her younger years she had a rep of sleeping around.

She apparently was the school slut who got tagged teamed by the jocks. Becky even told me about how when she was 15 and had fuck buddies in their 30’s. And how when she was in university she dated 3 guys at once and caught chlamydia and gonorrhoea twice. Even used Only Fans to pay for school.

Even worse, she supposedly slept with other men when she was married. Her excuse was that her and her husband broke up and stayed married so he wouldn’t get deported.

After knowing all this I’m starting to look at her differently. Sometimes I see Becky the same way I see the woman in the picture. But it’s hard to leave Becky because she is trying really hard to make this relationship work. I’m a low value man with no proper education and job, and she makes feel like a high value man with the way she treats me. She really wants us to get married and keeps telling her friends Im gonna but her a ring. But it’s a tough decision for me.

She wants to meet my parents and I know they’re not gonna like her at all. My parents are and have always people skills. They can pick up on things.

The other day beck told me she’s having suicidal thoughts and being with helps her not think suicidal. She’s undergoing therapy atm.

Across many religions, light is associated with good and purity, while darkness is associated with evil and corruption. For example, Satan is often called the Lord of Darkness and demons are often portrayed with dark skins. Meanwhile, God is often portrayed as a brilliant white light and despite Jesus growing up in Jerusalem and likely being dark in complexion, he is often portrayed as a Caucasian man with blonde/brown hair. Even the Archangel Michael is given the appearance of a white male.

Now how does this relate to racism? In this world, we have people that have Jesus/Angels phenotypic features from movies and paintings and then we have black people that look nothing like them and more in keeping with Satan's complexion. It's not far fetch to conclude that a lot of white/fair skin people could use this to justify their racism towards black people, as well as, embolden their belief of being seen as superior and good.

In addition, by already having this warped view in your mind at a young age, you might already have biasness in place to mistrust or look for bad traits in a black person over that of a white person.

The Department of Homeland Security is now barring states and volunteer groups that receive government funds from helping undocumented immigrants, according to a Washington Post analysis of updated guidelines and interviews with Federal Emergency Management Agency employees.

Some members of the national volunteer disaster group network also questioned whether the new requirements are constitutional and point out that they seem to violate some local and state laws that prevent asking about a person’s immigration status.

By accepting the federal grants and awards, the new documents state, volunteer organizations that help after disasters must agree to not “operate any program that benefits illegal immigrants or incentivizes illegal immigration.”

That could put groups that provide food, housing, mental health support and other assistance in disaster-stricken states in the position of having to verify aid recipients legal status before providing assistance, experts said.

They are also barred from “harboring, concealing, or shielding from detection illegal aliens;” have to agree to “provide access to detainees, such as when an immigration officer seeks to interview a person who might be a removable alien;” and not leak or publicize an enforcement operation.

Several members raised concerns that federal contracts cannot make nonprofits violate local laws that protect people’s privacy. The bulk of disaster-volunteer groups that work with the federal government are also faith-based organizations, which some groups said could create constitutional concerns.

"First, the federal government has never attempted to tell the nonprofit sector who we can and cannot serve. Further, as a faith-based organization we have the right to determine who we serve.”

Who is paying for all this legal help?

As many of you know, for the past year, I've been drinking like a fish, a whole bottle of rum every day for much of the year and sometimes more. I did this because I felt depressed and stuck, unable to move, and wanted an escape. Many of you tried to help me, to which I didn't listen. However, I hit rock bottom when my liver function test was done on May 19, 2025. My ALT levels were 373, and AST was 319. Both of these are more than 6 times the acceptable levels of 50 or less. Indicating very severe liver damage. This explained why I managed to drink so much, yet not feel drunk, my liver was doing a death rattle, and I would be, soon, if I didn't stop. For the first time in a while, i felt scared to lose my life, I looked back and saw what a coward I'd been. I felt a deep sense of regret, all the people I pushed away, all the problems I avoided, and now it might be too late. I bought a bottle of rum, 1 liter. I poured out 700ml of it and drank the rest. That was 80 days ago, and I haven't had one single drop since. My doctors had given up, not even bothering to schedule an appointment as they knew my cowardly behavior would simply cancel, so I didn't have to face them. After 38 days of absolute sobriety, I messaged my doctor informing her that i took her advice to heart and have removed alcohol from my life, I wanted to come in and get bloodwork done. On July 14th, it came back. ALT levels are 64, AST is 42. My liver healed faster than I ever thought possible, crushing my foolish excuse from before that I was too far gone to heal. With this, I was able to go back on Trikafta, improving my lung function greatly. I got another liver function test done on August 13th, ALT levels are 49, AST is 25. My liver is now healthier than it was a year before I started drinking. I wasn't sure I believed in God, but I prayed for my life to be spared, and I do believe he listened. I'm not sure how I want to celebrate, but you can bet it will involve a lot of family and no alcohol
